Thanks for everyone that has reached out, my WhatsApp has over 700 unread messages, my iG dm is filled up. I’m good, I’ve gone through all the 5 stages of grief, yesterday was TOTAL ACCEPTANCE & surrendering.

But this experience has opened my eyes to a whole lot, Dunoo if I will ever share my experiences but then, one thing is I’m no longer giving FEAR the power over me.

I do two books monthly- Hard copies
I do 2 courses monthly - Udemy
I do 10 movies monthly
And 3 series monthly both on Netflix; I don’t watch TV🤣I don’t own one either.

No matter how busy my life is, I must read & I must also watch movies.

All is in the pursuit of knowledge 📌

To be sincere I just wanted to have plenty money & just inspire people with my life & writings, I didn’t even want to be famous. I dunno if you understand 🥹Because the worst thing that can happen to you is to be broke & famous😂

And after seeing all the perks that comes with fame, especially with people having an opinion, not being able to be free because everyone is just ready to criticize & all.

Your life basically being in public scrutiny.
I rather just have money & be balling, than people knowing me, and that’s why most times I just want to be behind the scenes, I just want to sit by a corner, reading my book & minding my business.

But then again how does a non vocal person inspire? You just need to be out there but try & control the noise. That’s why sadly I don’t really talk about certain aspects of my life no matter how vocal I am.

Lately I wanted to check into a hotel, I got in and all the rooms were booked, I quietly worked out & drove out, checked into another & shot my contents. That evening I got a message on my Facebook Messenger & the receptionist in the first hotel drops a message apologizing that there is was no room but that anytime I need to check in I should let her know !!!

I was quiet & shocked at the same time.
There’s no hiding place again🤡
I will find another alternative for my matters 😌

Every platform has their own unique Mode of operation.
One thing I have learnt as a creator is to try out different content styles & then know what works for each.

When I decided to build my teektok page from less than 200 followers 5 months ago; I didn’t know what kind of content I should post there & so I decided to taste the waters.

The first thing I did was secure my account
Two factor authentication ✅
Then I proceeded to update my bio✅
Then I started trying to hit their monetization rules, reaching 1k followers ✅
Having a particular video reach ✅
Being on the app for over 90 days or so✅
Then I was now eligible to be gifted during my live sessions but yet I didn’t go on live❌

Then I started dancing small it had ❌ engagement
I started using funny audios & filters after all that’s basically what everyone on the app does it still had ❌ zero engagement.
Then I started using trending audios❌ zero engagement still

I didn’t understand the hashtag system so I didn’t even bother using it ❌
Neither was I tagging anybody..❌

Then I said maybe I should just be myself & not try to fit in, cos everytime I did it wasn’t working & so I started posting my natural voice overs ✅
I started sharing my recipes ✅giving value
I started my storytelling vlogs✅ I call them “wholesome vlogs”✅
I started creating long & entertaining videos content✅using my voice
I started writing longer captions✅

Even when I didn’t understand the community I focused on building it, I have over 70 viral videos on teektok the highest is almost getting to 1M.
I’ve had my recipes have lots of shares in thousands.

Yet I haven’t done; follow the gifter tap tap tap,..
Recently I started thinking of how I can make money on that app I then realized it’s either through influencing or actually learning how to go on live.

At first it was scary & strange but the first day I went for just 5 mins & I made 2$😂😂
Anyways I’ve built a following of 50.6k in less than 5 months & the secret is;

TRY EVERYTHING & THEN FIND WHAT WORKS FOR YOU ✅
I’m now adding UGC creator on the app,You can pay me to show off your product / services there as well.

But yes I did it📌

All the dms I’ve received is everyone talking about my humility & I’m wondering the kind of people you people have been meeting??
Or maybe because I don’t see why I should feel like anything?what do I have please?

So it’s better you answer me truthfully if not this question will keep haunting me; it seems the answer I’ve given myself & mumsy is not enough because even I sometimes I don’t like MYSELF.

In January/February I know the different levels of pain I was feeling from my stomach to my friends demise, Zimorah called me every single night😊 she listened to all my rantings & hurtings.

The day she told me about how she lost her younger sister that was also her energy pillar, it really broke me, and I decided to always support her.

This woman has paid for my content class over 3 times just because she wants to keep hearing my voice motivating her everyday.

She is my friend but when it comes to the job she pays for it & never takes advantage of our relationship.

There are days I go overboard with her & really bring out my coaching skills to critic everything, but then it only makes her better & I keep seeing changes every day.
