Well, it has come to my notice that some people have been ste@ling and reposting my work on TikTok, starting from My Mother-in-Law, My Shield and now continuing with my other stories.
If you are one of those people, please kindly desist from this act.
I know how much time, energy, creativity, and effort I put into creating these stories. Behind every episode are hours of planning, writing, generating images, editing, using data, paying for different tools, and sometimes staying awake late into the night just to make sure I give you something beautiful to watch.
So imagine how I felt when I discovered that some people were taking the work I struggled so hard to create and presenting it on their own pages as though it belonged to them.
What hurt me even more was seeing someone go as far as using my name, “Shooting Star,” for their page, changing the names of my storylines to suit themselves, and even using images generated for my stories as their profile picture.
Honestly, seeing all of this discouraged me.
For a moment, I asked myself, “Why am I putting in so much effort when someone else can simply take everything I have created and repost it?”
But then I remembered why I started.
I started because I love storytelling. I started because I have a vision. I started because I know how much joy these stories bring to the people who watch them.
And most importantly, I will not allow someone else’s actions to make me abandon something God has given me the strength and creativity to build.
So no, I am not stopping.
I may feel hurt. I may feel disappointed. I may even get discouraged sometimes. But I will pick myself up and continue.
To everyone who genuinely supports me, watches my episodes, shares them, comments, saves them, and encourages me — thank you. ❤️ You may not realize it, but your support reminds me that the work is worth it.
And to those reposting my work without permission, I won’t fight you or wish you evil. I simply ask that you stop taking what someone else has spent so much time and resources creating.
There is room for everyone to be creative. Create your own stories. Build your own characters. Tell your own stories.
My work is my work, and I will continue to protect and build what I have created.
I refuse to stop because of this.
God knows the effort behind everything I create, and I believe He will continue to give me the strength, ideas, and grace to keep going.
