THE SILENT SCREAMS 🥺
I’ve looked at this drawing a hundred times since I finished it, and every time, it takes my breath away, because it’s not just graphite on paper,It’s a memory 🧠 It’s the raw, unfiltered echo of a night when I felt like I was drowning in a sea of unspoken emotions.
I think we all have those moments where life feels like it's coming at us from every direction. For me, it was a build-up of stress, frustration, disappointment, and a deep, aching hope that felt too heavy to carry. I couldn't talk about it, I couldn't scream it out... all I could do was pick up my pencil.
I didn't plan this piece. I didn't sketch a draft. The hand, the contorted expression, the teeth gritted in silent agony—it just flowed out of me as I channeled every single conflicting emotion onto the page.
The single tear you see wasn't added for dramatic effect; it’s a reflection of my own tears that night. There were moments when my vision blurred, and I had to stop and wait for the paper to dry because an actual teardrop had fallen onto the graphite, mixing with the shading and creating a stain that I had to work into the texture.
This drawing is more than just art; it's a silent scream for help, a therapy session on paper, and proof that you can turn your darkest feelings into something beautiful and real.
