The Quarterly Public Service Verification Exercise (QPSVE) for the 1st Quarter of 2026 begins today. Kindly watch the attached video to know how to begin your verification. This Exercise is mandatory for al public servants in Akwa Ibom state.

Failure to successfully complete the verification on or before 1st May 2026 (60 days) will result in suspension and possible removal from the payroll, pending further administrative review.

Pictorial Highlights of The On-Going Recruitment Process at The New CBT Centre in Uyo,Akwa Ibom state. This is the first of its kind in the State and the Nation at large. We at Ibom Digital observed that the safety, comfort and support of the test candidates was not an issue as a lot of measures were implemented in that regard. We would like to Specially Thank His Excellency The Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno for his efforts in securing a Better Future for Young People in Akwa Ibom. Yesterday The 4th of November 2025, The Computer Based Test (CBT) Centre at the Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat Uyo was open to the first batch of participants for the Akwa Ibom state’s new Civil Service recruitment process. As seen in the pictures The Head of Service (Elder Effiong Essien), The Honorable Commissioner for Science and Digital Economy(Dr Frank Ekpenyong), Seasoned Media Practitioner and Senior Special Assistant to The Governor Sir Michael Effiong James as well as other aides from the concerned ministries and commissions have relentlessly collaborated to ensure the process goes smoothly and reaffirms His Excellency, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno’s commitment to ensuring that the recruitment process is and remains purely merit based.

GOVERNOR UMO ENO INSPECTS A 2000 TEST CAPACITY PER DAY COMPUTER BASED TRAINING(CBT) CENTRE AT THE STATE SECRETARIAT ALONGSIDE KEY MEMBERS OF HIS ADMINISTRATION.

The Governor at the CBT Centre had a first-hand demonstration of the high level digital capacity that the centre offers in respect to the forth coming exams to be taken by Civil Servants in the state.
Speaking to the Head of Service (Elder Effiong Essien) The Secretary to The State Government (Prince Enobong Uwah) and The Honourable Commissioner of Science and Digital economy (Dr Frank Ekpenyong) amongst other notable members of the state government, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno mandated that this robust system should be replicated across the state especially at the soon to be unveiled youth friendly centres. He emphasized the need for more merit based programs in the civil service as a way to ensure the quality control of staff within the Civil Service.
This mandate reinforces His Excellency’s commitment to equipping the Akwa Ibom state people with the necessary skills needed to match the current technological landscape in the world. The 2000 test capacity per day state of the art centre offers high speed internet and all the latest digital capabilities to ensure seamless usage during examinations.

Earlier today at the Ward center for Ward 4 Ukanafun LGA, situated at Government Primary School, Ikot Akpa Ntuen, where the Honorable Commissioner for Science and Digital Economy Dr Frank Udo Ekpenyong gracefully revalidated his APC Party Membership and urged members of the community to be fully engaged in political exercises to further support the progressive movement of His Excellency The Governor in the bid to align Akwa Ibom to the center and secure a better future for All Akwa Ibom citizens.

In Furtherance of the Akwa United movement, His Excellency Pastor Umo Bassey Eno PhD was honored with a grand reception officially welcoming him and the entire state to The All Progressives Congress (APC) at The Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state earlier today. This colorful event was attended by The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ably represented by The Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima Mustapha GCON. Other Notable Attendees were The Senate President, Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio, The APC National Chairman Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje amongst other notable party members/stakeholders in the Federal Level.
