OBONGAWAN EKPO-OHO JOINS APC STAKEHOLDERS IN STRATEGIC MEETING WITH AKWA IBOM GOVERNOR

Obongawan Mrs. Glory Ekpo-Oho, Managing Director of the Cross River Basin Development Authority (CRBDA), joined other key leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in a crucial Stakeholders meeting with the Akwa Ibom State Governor and State Leader of the APC.

The meeting, held on Tuesday, 15th July 2025 at the Government House Banquet Hall, focused on strengthening internal party structures, fostering unity, and aligning strategies for the party’s continued growth and coordination across the state.

EKPO OHO AND EYAKENYI AT APC SOUTH-SOUTH SUBMIT: WHERE FRIENDSHIP FINDS ITS WAY BACK

At the just-concluded All Progressive Congress (APC) South-South Stakeholders Summit in Edo State, a quiet but powerful moment stole the spotlight.

The Managing Director of the Cross River Basin Development Authority (CRBDA), Obongawan Mrs. Glory Ekpo Oho, reunited with her childhood friend and sister, the Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Her Excellency Dr. Akon Eyakenyi.

Their embrace was more than personal—it marked the beginning of a new partnership built on trust, shared history and a common mission.

Moved by the reunion, the Deputy Governor introduced Mrs. Ekpo Oho to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno PhD.

That meeting opened the door for deeper collaboration between CRBDA and the state government—anchored on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive to boost food production and reduce food prices in the region.

With CRBDA at the frontline of this national engagement, Mrs. Ekpo Oho affirmed her commitment to working closely with Akwa Ibom State to ensure the President’s mandate is fulfilled.

This is more than a partnership—it’s a renewed journey toward food security, agricultural growth, and prosperity for the people of Akwa Ibom and Cross River States.

APC IBIAKPAN OBOTIM WARD 2 HELD A RECEPTION RALLY FOR GOV. ENO PLEDGES SOLIDARITY.

The All Progressive Congress APC Ibiakpan Obotim ward 2 Nsit Ubium Local Government Area on Sunday staged a warmly welcome and reception rally to their son His Excellency Pst. Umo Eno PhD. the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State over his recent defection from the People's Democratic Party PDP to the ruling All Progressive Congress APC.

The reception rally which held across the six villages making the ward had its climax at the governor's resident in Ikot Ekpene Udo.

Lead by the Ward Chairman Mr. Hanson Michael Inwang with the stakeholders, executives and members of the party in the ward, the party expressed their gratitude and also registered their solidarity to the governor and pleged their unalloyed support to him administration.

The rally received a great commendation by the governor who expressed gratitude for the respect and solidarity done him, promised to work with the party from Ward to National to achieve the Arise and Renewed Hope Agenda progressively.

Flanked by the Secretary to the State Government Mr. Enobong Uwah, the governor urged the mammoth crowd to maintain peace and and be law abiding as he has accepted to govern the state in the path of progress.

The rally was witnessed by many party officials which include but not limited to; some APC ward chairmen led by Mr Hanson Inwang of Ibiakpan Obotim 2, the immediate past APC Councillorship Candidate of the ward Hon. Idongesit Umoren, the State party Chairman Obong Stephen Ntukekpo, the SSG Mr. Enobong Uwah, the local government chairmen led by Nsit Ubium Council Chairman Hon Alfred Inoyo as well as women and youth groups in the ward.
