MISSING Person — ARIJE AJIBOLA

Mrs. Olajumoke Oluwatobi Arije has appealed to the general public for assistance in locating her husband, Arije Ajibola, who has been missing since Friday, August 7, 2026.

Ajibola was last seen at about 7:27 a.m. around Dikat/Ajeigbe, Ibadan, while reportedly on his way to work.

He drove his gold Nissan Primera, while both of his phones are currently switched off.

His vehicle was later found at UMC Oke-Ado, with the car key, but there is reportedly no information on how the vehicle got there or who returned it.

Mrs. Arije is appealing to anyone with useful information about her husband's whereabouts to kindly come forward.

My dad single-handedly raised me after my mom disappeared when I was just 3 months old, leaving me behind in his bike basket — and 18 years later, she suddenly showed up and interrupted my graduation with a truth I never saw coming. At 17, my dad never imagined he'd become a father.

Especially not on the night before his own graduation. He always told me how he was heading home after a late shift when something caught his eye by the fence. His old bike. And in the basket… a baby. Me. There was a small note tucked inside my blanket. Only two lines. "She's yours. I can't do this." That was the first and last time anyone ever heard from the woman who gave birth to me.

My dad didn't even know she had been pregnant. The next morning, he walked into his graduation holding his cap and gown in one hand… and me in the other. We still have a photo from that day: a scared 17-year-old boy in a cap, holding a tiny baby like she might shatter at any second. But he stood by me.He raised me. He worked construction during the day, delivered pizzas at night, gave up college, and even taught himself how to braid hair from YouTube. He packed my lunches, helped with homework, and never let me feel like I was unwanted.
To me, he was always everything I needed. So when my graduation day finally came, I didn't bring a boyfriend. I brought him. My dad walked beside me across the football field, trying to stay strong even as his eyes filled with tears. And then, in the middle of the ceremony, a woman stood up from the crowd. She came straight toward us. Her eyes locked onto mine. “My God,” she whispered shakily. She stared at me for a long time. Then softly said, "Before you celebrate today... there's something about the man you call your father that you don't know."

In Delta State, a tragic incident has unfolded involving a woman named Nora who allegedly lost her life after a v!olent dispute with her husband, Emma. The dispute reportedly arose when Nora visited Cyril, the husband of her late friend Jennifer.

According to Nora's sister, Emma became enraged and attàcked Nora with an iron object upon her return home, forcing her outside and continuing the assàult in front of their children, aged 8, 5, and 1.

Emma allegedly discovered Nora's motionless body two hours later and alerted others. Emma is currently on the run, and official confirmation from authorities is awaited.
