*AAUE: NANS/AAU STUDENTS PROTEST OVER INCREMENT OF SCHOOL FEES AND OTHER INCREMENTS*

*Earlier today being 26th of June 2023,The National Association Of Nigeria Students (NANS),embarked on a* *resolution protest of school fees increment by the Ambrose Alli University management, who had earlier refused* *to come to dialogue with the students association (NANS).The Protest which was tagged THE SCHOOL* *FEES INCREMENTS, went around the school* *campus and the environs of Ekpoma, the host community of the school.*

*The protest which began by 7:00am,was lead by the NANS Vice President, Comr.Vanessa,other* *executives of NANS, SUG executives, AAU Faculty executive and the general students of Ambrose Alli University.*

*To Ensure that they embarked on a civil mission of Justice and solidarity,the* *body(NANS)received with respect, the Area Command of Ekpoma and he encouraged them(NANS/The* *Students)to go on a peaceful protest especially when their* *reason for protesting is such that can be addressed on a round table.*

*The Police Area Command who assured them of their safety said* *"it is your right to protest and it is your right to be protected while protesting,but we will not protect anybody that goes violent"*

*With this words of encouragement and assurance of protection, the student association* ( *NANS)and the general students moved on for their day business.*
