How Do You Insist on Business Policies?

Lately, I've been creating Christmas-themed videos for schools, and during negotiations, I make it a point to insist on a 50% upfront payment before starting the project.

For me, this isn't just about securing funds—it's about both parties showing commitment to the task.

It reassures me as a service provider that the client is serious, and it also motivates me to deliver my best work.

Interestingly, while some prospects find this policy offensive, I've had others who willingly pay in full even during negotiations.

It's always a mix of reactions, but sticking to my policy ensures clarity and respect for boundaries.

I read the Bible story of Noah.

God told Noah to build a big ark (Genesis 6:19-20) and instructed him to take into the ark two of every kind of animal.

But how would Noah Find all the animals?
