TOPIC: LIVING BOLDLY AS A CHRISTIAN TEEN OR YOUNG ADULT IN AND OFF CAMPUS
Bible Reading: Romans 1:6 and it says For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.”
I know being a Christian in today’s schools and campuses can look difficult or feel challenging.
Many young people face peer pressure, bullying, social media influence, and the temptation to blend in to feel among or to escape abuse from friends or been tag JJC( novice).
But God calls us to stand out and shine as lights in the world (Matthew 5:14–16).
You been different is your uniqueness you don't have to do what everyone is doing.
Stop trying to be like someone else to Blend in
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO LIVE BOLDLY AS A CHRISTIAN CHILD
1. Standing firm in your values even when it’s unpopular.Not being ashamed of your faith (Romans 1:16).
2. Speaking the truth in love when others are afraid to.
3. Being a role model in words, actions, and lifestyle (1 Timothy 4:12).
WHY YOU MUST BE BOLD
You are not too young for God to use (Jeremiah 1:7)your boldness encourages other Christian students to stand strong.
God places you in your school or campus as a witness and light. So let your life show forth God Glory. Let your life preach Christ without your talking
PRACTICAL WAYS TO LIVE BOLDLY IN SCHOOL
1. Don’t Hide Your Faith – Pray before meals, carry your Bible, join or start a Christian fellowship. Funny enough when you are faking it you know.
So genuinely show where and what you stand for.
2. Make Godly Choices – Say no to cheating, immorality, gossip, and negative trends.
Make Choice that Glorify your maker
3. Be Different, Not Weird – Let your excellence in academics and character speak.
4. Stand Against Wrong – Don’t laugh at dirty jokes or encourage bullying. Be Honest
5. Show Love and Kindness – Being bold is not being rude; it’s showing Christ’s love without compromise.
EXAMPLES OF BOLD YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE BIBLE
David – Faced Goliath as a teenager (1 Sam 17).
Daniel & Friends – Refused to bow or eat defiled food (Daniel 1 & 3).
Timothy – A young leader in the church, encouraged by Paul (1 Timothy 4:12).
BENEFITS OF LIVING BOLDLY
God’s presence and strength will back you up (Joshua 1:9).
You inspire other young believers, that's is any indirect way of preaching Christ
You build confidence and character.
You leave a legacy of faith in your school or campus.
The truth is that Living boldly as a Christian teen or young adult is not easy, but it is possible through the help of the Holy Spirit. Always Remembe that 👇
