ADMISSION INTO FUPRE PRE-DEGREE AND JUPEB PROGRAMMES FOR 2025/2026 SESSION

The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State – the first of its kind in Africa and sixth globally in petroleum studies – invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Pre-Degree (Basic) and Foundation (JUPEB) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

These intensive, one-year academic programmes are designed to prepare students for admission into 100-level or 200-level undergraduate degree programmes at FUPRE and other affiliated universities, locally and internationally.

PROGRAMME DETAILS

1. Pre-Degree (Basic) Programme
Duration: September 2025 – August 2026
Eligibility:

Five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English (awaiting results accepted)

Participation in a written qualifying exam

Non-refundable acceptance fee: ₦25,000

No refund of fees after voluntary withdrawal

2. Foundation (JUPEB) Programme
Duration: September 2025 – August 2026
Eligibility:

Five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English (awaiting results not accepted)

Participation in a written qualifying exam

Non-refundable acceptance fee: ₦50,000

No refund of fees after voluntary withdrawal

Upon successful completion of JUPEB and meeting required performance standards, candidates will gain direct entry into 200-level at FUPRE or any JUPEB-affiliated institution. JAMB Direct Entry form must be obtained separately.

🚨 BREAKING: FUPRE Post-UTME 2025/2026 Application is Out!

The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), Delta State — the 1st of its kind in Africa and 6th globally — has officially announced its Post-UTME application for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Application Starts: Sunday, 20th July 2025
Deadline: Friday, 22nd August 2025

Who Can Apply? Candidates who:
• Scored 170 or above in the 2025 UTME
• Chose FUPRE as first choice OR completed a change of institution to FUPRE
• Have 5 relevant O’Level credits (SSCE/NECO/GCE) in not more than 2 sittings
• And Must be 16 years or older by 30th September 2025

Screening Fee: ₦2,000 only

How to Apply:
1. Visit https://utme.fupre.edu.ng
2. Click “Generate Invoice” and make your ₦2,000 payment
3. Enter your JAMB Reg. Number and complete the application
4. Use your JAMB-registered phone number and a memorable password
5. Confirm, submit, and print your registration confirmation page
