For a pilot project, prosecuting a cluster of events as a variant of commemorating the World Food Day, Oct. 16th 2011. Preamble:
A-DiD is an agric event modelling suite holding a wide range of sector-sensitive high-impact agric-stakeholders engagement concepts such as the Strategic Agric Business Confab(SABC-2010, Songhai Delta) and the event project, code named 7-16-7, aimed to guarantee and ensu
re the concurrent observance of the World Food Day (Oct. 16th, 2011) as a summit with 7-Days Pre-Summit Focus Groups Sensitization Meetings, tagged: Agric-Revival Campaign and 7-Days Post-Summit Focus Groups Sustainability Meetings, tagged: Agric-Consolidation Campaign. A-DiD is a holistic Agric-Stakeholders Engagement Strategy to evoke aggressive participation and functionality of the sector towards a globally competitive agrarian sector where the sustenance and micro level participants of the sector have an unbridled access to global facilities and markets and remain invulnerable to threats associated with ill-developed industry structures. Consequently, A-DiD, as a private sector driven initiative seeks to forge valuable partnership with the public sector relevant agencies under the agricultural public-private-partnership paradigm as to, both enhance the agricultural agenda of state governments in the region and harness the vistas of opportunities inherently existent in the international agricultural frontiers - to the extent that all stakeholders in the region will throw in their full support and give their unfettered endorsement to produce a well developed NIGER DELTA AGRARIAN ECONOMY, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE NIGER DELTA ALONE, THAT MEETS THE COMPETITION FOISTED ON US BY THE OTHER DELTAS OF THE WORLD AND OTHER IMPRESSIONABLE COUNTRY-EXAMPLES AROUND THE WORLD. ARISE NIGERIA! FOR A GLOBAL AGRARIAN CULTURE AND BE PART OF THE SOLUTION TO THE GLOBAL FOOD CRISIS, NOW OR NEVER. CELEBRATE THE WORLD FOOD DAY 2011 - ADOPT AT LEAST ONE LGA WITHIN THE REGION AND NATION. VISION:
A passionate attention on the ramification of the Niger Delta(Nigerian) agricultural sector, mingled with innate creative capacities of specific individuals and guided by the noble conscience of striving for the preservation of humanity could compel relevant institutions to live up to their statutory roles and deliver a globally competitive agrarian economy. MISSION:
Deploying a razzmatazz agric-stakeholders engagment model for mass grassroot mobilisation and management through Agric-Sensitization Campaign and Agric-Sustainability Campaign - where ownership of the cause resides in the rural people having an unbridled access to expert resources. GRAND OBJECTIVES
1. Impacting rural farmers and the host of indigent people through Education, Ethics and Entrepreneurship as veritable tools of sustainable empowerment for world class agrarian competence and global market access
2. Endeavouring to access, appraise, adopt, and adapt global efforts as to replicating them in the agric sector considering our unique peculiarities in founding a globally competitive agrarian economy
3. Initialising a fund-raising and management template which grants the people full control all such funds for their intended purposes
4. To institutionalise our variant of commemorating the World Food Day with the inclusion of other relevant novel global agric events
