NORTHEAST REGION GETS TWO 150MVA SIEMENS MEGA TRANSFORMERS!

Do you know that the Tinubu administration has just recently installed and energized two 150MVA Siemens Mega Transformers in Bauchi to enhance power supply to the entire Northeast region?

The two 150MVA Mega Transformers were installed by engineers of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) at the Bauchi Transmission Substation, which commenced in February 2022, and were commissioned on the 3rd of July 2025. The project included two new transmission towers to replace vandalised ones.

50 NEW OPERATIONAL VEHICLES FOR THE EOD-CBRN UNIT OF THE NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE!

Do you know that the Tinubu administration has procured and commissioned 50 operational vehicles for the Explosive Ordnance Disposal - Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (EOD-CBRN) unit of the Nigerian Police Force?

The vehicles were unveiled and commissioned by the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, at the Force Headquarters in Abuja on the 27th of May 2025. These specialised vehicles will now set up the EOD-CBRN unit to be responsive to such kind of threats in the country.

NEW POLICE MECHANICAL WORKSHOP AND TACTICAL OPERATIONAL VEHICLES IN ABUJA!

Do you know that the Tinubu administration has just recently commissioned a new mechanical workshop and 40 tactical and operational vehicles for the Nigerian Police Force in Abuja?

All the facilities were commissioned by the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, on the 19th of June 2025. The workshop, which is located in Dei-Dei area of Abuja, will assist the force in maintaining the operational readiness of its operational and tactical vehicles to guarantee efficiency.

THE NEW INTERCHANGE BRIDGES OF WOLE SOYINKA WAY OVER MURTALA MOHAMMED EXPRESSWAY IN ABUJA!

Do you know that the Tinubu administration has completed and commissioned the Interchange Bridges of the Wole Soyinka Way that flies over the Murtala Mohammed Expressway in Abuja?

The Interchange is part of the Arterial Road N20 (Wole Soyinka Way), which was constructed by the administration to enhance the smooth flow of traffic in Abuja city metropolis. It was commissioned by the President on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

THE NEW 8-LANE ARTERIAL ROAD LINKING LIFE CAMP JUNCTION TO RING ROAD III IN ABUJA HAS BEEN COMMISSIONED!

Do you know that a new 8-lane arterial road, which links Life Camp Junction in Abuja to the city's Ring Road III, has been built and commissioned by the Tinubu administration?

The 8-lane road, also known as the Obafemi Awolowo Way, was commissioned by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, on behalf of the President, on the 20th of June 2025. The road is part of the efforts of the federal government to ease traffic congestions within Abuja metropolis.

THE LEFT-HAND SERVICE CARRIAGEWAY LINKING ABUJA CITY CENTRE TO WASA JUNCTION HAS BEEN COMMISSIONED!

Do you know that the Left-Hand Service Carriageway, which connects the Abuja city arterial road to Wasa Junction, and which was built by the Tinubu administration, has just been commissioned and is now being used by commuters?

The 15km Service Carriageway is part of the Outer Southern Expressway (OSEX) of the arterial road networks in the Federal Capital Territory, forming part of the efforts to ease transportation difficulties within the territory. It was commissioned by the President himself on the 14th of June 2025.

THE MAITAMA - GISHIRI BRIDGE AND THE KATAMPE - JAHI - MABUSHI LINK ROADS HAVE BEEN COMMISSIONED!

Do you know that the Tinubu administration has just recently completed and commissioned the Maitama - Gishiri Bridge as well as the Katampe - Jahi - Mabushi link roads in Abuja?

These completed road infrastructure in the Federal Capital Territory were commissioned by the President himself on the 11th of June 2025 as part of the celebrations marking his two years in office. The new roads and bridges will definitely help ease the flow of traffic as well as boost economic activities in the FCT.

3 NEW WARSHIPS AND 3 NEW HELICOPTERS FOR THE NIGERIAN NAVY!

In celebration of the Nigerian Navy's 69th Anniversary, do you know that the Tinubu administration has just commissioned 3 new warships and 3 new fighter helicopters into the fleet of the Nigerian Navy in Lagos?

The new warships and helicopters were inducted on Saturday, May 31, 2025, by the Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle alongside the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla and the other military service chiefs and other relevant dignitaries from the National Assembly.

THE NIGERIAN DEFENCE ACADEMY, KADUNA GETS A 2.5MW CAPTIVE SOLAR HYBRID POWER PLANT!

Do you know that the Tinubu administration, in partnership with the World Bank, has just installed and commissioned a 2.5MW Captive Solar Hybrid Power Plant at the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna?

The facility, which comes along with 288 solar street lights installed in the institution, is part of the efforts to maximise the use of clean energy systems across the world. More importantly, this will guarantee the supply of steady electricity supply to the entire institution. It was commissioned on the 15th of May 2025.

A 300MVA SIEMENS MEGA TRANSFORMER HAS BEEN ENERGIZED IN JOS, PLATEAU STATE!

Do you know that a brand new 300MVA Siemens Mega Transformer has just been recently energized at the Jos Transmission Substation in Plateau State?

The exercise was done by engineers of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), after which the energy wheeling capacity of the Substation was raised to 240MW. Areas that will benefit from this addition include parts of Bauchi and Benue states who are part of the Jos Electricity Distribution Company's franchise.
