Dear Nigeria Police Force
I hope this letter meets you well.
It has become public knowledge and highly outrageous to hear that a police man can become a cheap thief on the very day a protest was led in favor of retired police officers in Nigeria. It is too too shameful and embarrassing to say the least.
So disdainful is the fact that this Nigeria Police Force officer, dressed in m***i, who stole Omoyele Sowore AI Rayban glasses at the Force headquarters during is being shielded by his superiors. A case of accomplice and accessory to the facts and remote knowledge of the criminal act.
It is a clear indication that the alleged Police Officer didn't just mistakenly ste@l the recording glasses, It was well planned, calculated and executed. Just imagine, stealing from the same person speaking up for your rights? That’s not just disgraceful, it’s heartbreaking.
The police cannot employ a thief as a camera man. It is a huge disgrace and an embarrassment to us who are your friends. It is a despicable and desperate act. He must not go unpunished. And this is exactly why it’s hard to find people who truly stand up for the masses.
I join fellow Nigerians to call on the IGP, Kayode Egbetokun, and the FCT Commissioner of Police to urgently investigate this shameful act,
recover the glass and produce and prosecute the thief who stole the glasses.
Please treat as urgent.
Your's Sincerely,
Ogar Solomon Ogar, FSLC.
