Sanwo-Olu unveils first electric car in Nigeria
November 14, 2020

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Friday unveiled Nigeria’s first locally-assembled full electric car, aimed at reducing pressure on use of petroleum.

The Hyundai Kona car, manufactured by Stallion Group, is 100 per cent electric and comes with zero emission, 482km driving range and can be charged both at home and workplace.

Sanwo-Olu said at the unveiling in Lagos that the electric car was technology on display.

“The future that we see is the future of technology and this is the technology that we are talking about,” he said.

“This is 21st century technology that has been brought into our country.

“With an innovation of Hyundai Kona, we do not need to put the pressure on what is the pump price of oil again, what is the pump price of petroleum again.

“All the issues and fights that we are having about prices of petroleum going up and the rest of it will be a thing of the past.

“This is a way to go, and it is the future that we are seeing now.

“This is the first electric car that we are seeing and we as the government need to partner with them.”

Sanwo-Olu said there was the need to create an enabling environment for the company to do well, so that it could employ a lot more youths.

The governor said that with the unveiling of the Hyundai Kona electric car, youths would be employed and empowered for greater opportunities.

According to him, the state government will partner Ibile Oil and Gas and other private organisations to create different charging points in the city, so that people will have where to charge the cars.

“For us, we see a renowned hope, for us we see a tomorrow coming today, for us we see and believe in the Stallion dream,” the governor said.

Sanwo-Olu commended Stallion Group for believing in the Lagos and Nigeria dream, and revamping the moribund asset located along Lagos-Badagry Expressway.

Also speaking, the Managing Director the Stallion Group, Rohtagi Manish, said that the innovation was a step towards an eco-friendly green Lagos.

Manish said that the material used to assemble Nigeria’s First 100 per cent electric zero emission car was mostly sourced from local resources.

The vehicle, when fully charged for 9hrs 35mins, can go a distance of 482km (equivalent of Lagos to Warri), before it requires charging again.

IF TRUMP REFUSES TO LEAVE THE WHITE HOUSE, THE WHITE HOUSE WILL LEAVE HIM!!!

March 4th 1801 the second president of the United States John Adams refused to hand over office to his main rival at the 1800 election Thomas Jefferson.
The rule of midday January 20 had not been written yet.

Despite his stubbornness THE OFFICE SIMPLY LEFT HIM!
After Thomas Jefferson was sworn in at an event which the incumbent refused to attend Whitehouse staff started to remove the president’s belongings from the White house (Adams was the first president to reside at the new official residence).

All security organs cut all official communication.
All presidential staff stopped taking instructions from Adams –
THE OFFICE SIMPLY MOVED!

From that time all incumbents at the White House prepare early to leave in-case they see signs of losing to avoid humiliation by the independent organs of state (The Military, The secret Service, The CIA, FBI and all White House staff. They all operate under a code, that of serving a man/woman who has carried the WILL of the people at an election).

As soon as Biden clinches the 270 votes and is officially declared by all returning officers in the states the following is going to happen

1. The secret service divides its attention between the incumbent at the incoming President.

2. CIA begins to brief both (including top secret intelligence which is traditionally reserved for one individual-the commander in chief).

3. The counter intelligence teams of the CIA which ‘spy’ on The CIA also begin to brief both.

4. Whitehouse staff begin to prepare to re-do the house in-line with the taste of the president elect.

5. At Midday on January 20 Whitehouse staff remove all his belongings from the house and bring in the belongings of the new president (they wait for no one’s instructions).

6.The deductions for White house rent on Trump’s salary stops in January.

7. The deductions for Whitehouse rent begins on Joe Biden’s presidential salary in January.

8. Melania Trump stops being the boss of Whitehouse on January 20 at midday.

9.Dr. Jill Biden becomes the boss of Whitehouse on January 20 at midday.

10. At midday on January 20 all the power organs of the US cut official communication with Trump;
The pentagon, The CIA, The FBI, The Attorney General. The secret service maintains minimal communication since it is going to guard the x-president all his life.

11. The BEAST and AIRFORCE ONE salutes Trump for the last time and move their attention to Biden.

The BEAST begins to carry Biden’s blood samples as is the tradition.
Without instructions from any one! It has been so for over 200 years.

Gov. Yahaya Bello was born on *18th July 1975*.

He became governor on Jan 27th 2016 aged *40yrs*.

Anyim Pius Anyim was born 19th Feb. 1961

He was elected senate president in August 2000 aged *39*.

Let's talk about Dimeji Bankole

He was born 14th, Nov. 1969 and was elected into house of Rep in 2003 when he was just *34!!!*

He later became speaker of house of Rep. in Nov 2007 at *38yrs as a bachelor*.

*Let me shock you more*....

Orji Uzor Kalu was born on 21st, April 1960 and was elected in 1999 at just *39*.

*AM I COMMUNICATING*?

Donald Duke was born 30-11-1961, also elected governor of cross river in 1999 at *38*.

These are some of the *YOUTH* who had found themselves in leadership position

*Did they do things differently*?

What indelible marks would you say Dimeji left as speaker being a young man?

What of Orji Uzor Kalu?

Did he serve Abia differently and better as a young man

*Our problem is not age of aspirants or candidates*.

Those who plunged us into this wahala are also youth

The active players in the *civil war* were all youths.

*The actors of 1st and 2nd coup of 1966 were all young men*.

One of them was *Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu*.

He was just 29 years then, born on 26th, Feb 1937

The beneficiaries of subsequent coups were also youths

Yes! In their **20s, 30s and early 40s*.

*One of them was Yakubu Gowon*.

Yakubu was born 19-10-1934, became head of state in July 1966 at youthful age of just *32!!!*

He married his wife, Victoria as a sitting *head of state!*

What do all these tell you?

Those shouting *'Not too young to rule*' must also remember *'NOT TOO YOUNG TO STEAL*'

Our problem is not *age, s*x, qualification, tribe or religion of leaders*.

It is having that *DETERMINATION and COMMITMENT TO SERVE*.

It's about being *God FEARING AND POSSESSING LEADERSHIP QUALITIES* like *AHMADU BELLO, AWOLOWO, ZIK and others*.

They were also youth when they came on board

So, it is NOT just about their AGE

They were determined to serve

It is better to elect a sincere person than 25yrs year old *THIEF*.
🤔🤔🤔
Age is a number, who you are matters.

May God bless country 🇳🇬 Nigeria.

*BEING YOUNG IS NOT AN ADVANTAGE UNLESS*...

Yahaya Bello was 40, Dimeji Bankole was *34*, Orji Kalu was *39*
