SANITATION EXERCISE FOR NOVEMBER,2024

This is to inform the public that the usual monthly environmental sanitation day exercise holds on Saturday, 30th November, 2024.

Residents are expected to clean their surroundings, cut grasses, clear drains, and natural waterways to allow free flow of water.

There will be restriction of movement between the hours of 7am to 10am.

All workers on essential duties are to take permission from the environment sanitation authority.

The authority expresses appreciation to all the communities in Yenagoa metropolis for their mobilization and cooperation.

Our gratitude also go to leaders of the various trading units at the Swali main market, Kpansia, Opolo, Etegwe and other markets for their indication to ensure full compliance and participation of their members during the upcoming environmental sanitation exercise.

The Authority wishes to use this medium to call on corporate organization to partner with us in cleaning our environment.

Note: Playing of football and riding of bicycle will no longer be tolerated within the period of 7am to 10am.

Keeping our environment clean is a collective responsibility.

Let us join hands to make Bayelsa State clean and green.

Timothy Diekivie Itiedu, led members to observe a powerful ministration as He took to the pulpit to minister on the importance of giving.

While welcoming new members, the UFDD boss commended members for their steadfastness and encouraged new ones to follow sooth.

The DG also provided enough drinks and small chops for refreshments.

The Epie-Atissa Merit Award Committee paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Timothy Diekivie Itiedu, Chairman Environmental Sanitation Authority, Bayelsa State.

The Epie-Atissa Merit Award is aimed at honouring the Sons and Daughters of the land who are doing well in their respective fields and to encourage the young ones coming up.

The committee used this medium to congratulate Hon. Timothy Diekivie Itiedu on His well deserved appointment as Chairman, Environmental Sanitation Board, Bayelsa State, and to solicit support in the upcoming event slated on the 27th of December, 2024.

In his response, Hon. Timothy expressed gratitude to the committee for coming up with this wonderful idea and pledged total support for the Epie-Atissa Merit Award.

Exciting sights from today's Prosperity Walk as our very energetic Chairman of Bayelsa State Environmental Sanitation Authority, Hon. Timothy Diekivie Itiedu accompanied by members of his ever supportive political family, UNITED FRONT FOR DOUYE DIRI (UFDD), joined His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri, key players of the Prosperity Government, and Bayelsans to burn out some calories this morning.

He again seized the opportunity to reiterate his commitment to drive the urban renewal vision in the ASSURED agenda of His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri to put Bayelsa State on the spotlight of cleanliness and healthy living.

Thus, he called on residents within the Yenagoa metropolis and its environs to always keep their surroundings clean, clear drainages, and properly bag their refuse before discarding at a government approved receptacles.

He further stated that receptacle guards are now placed at all government approved receptacles to monitor refuse disposal and implement enforcement. Noting that dumping time has been restricted to the hours of 4pm-7pm daily, and defaulters will be apprehended by the receptacle guards for immediate persecution before the Sanitation Court at the Authority.

UFDD NEW MEDIA TEAM PAID CONGRATULATORY VISIT TO HER PRINCIPAL, HON. TIMOTHY DIEKIVIE ITIEDU, CHAIRMAN Of BAYELSA STATE ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION AUTHORITY.

~Presents Customised Wall Clock.

A delegation of the UNITED FRONT FOR DOUYE DIRI (UFDD) New Media Team led by her proactive Director Comr. Jefferson Zemkizibe Odjesah paid an official congratulatory visit to her principal, Hon. Timothy Diekivie Itiedu on his appointment as the Chairman of Bayelsa State Environmental Sanitation Authority.

Speaking during the visit, the spokesman of the team, Comr. Tomvie Marshal Kofi expressed utmost gratitude to God Almighty for making the dream of Hon. Timothy a reality. He thanked His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri, Executive Miracle Governor of Bayelsa State for finding his worthy son and Director General of the most fabulous NGO (UFDD) fit for such an exalted position.

He further opined that the appointment is timely and significant owing to the good works and leadership prowess of the Sanitation Boss.

Also Speaking Comr. Peaceful Egefe who expressed delight on the appointment of her principal, sued for continuous good working relationship with the team for effective service delivery.

Comr. Jefferson Zemkizibe Odjesah, Director of the UFDD New Media while expressing gratitude, thanked Hon. Timothy for his open door policies, and the supports he has rendered to the team for the time being.

He on behalf of the team officially congratulated the Sanitation Boss, and made a presentation of Customised Wall Clock, noting that it is the TIME of Hon. Timothy to Arise and Shine for the world to see.

With high sense of gratitude Hon. Timothy appreciated the team for their resilient and unwavering commitments.

He acknowledged the good works of the team and promised to always provide necessary support to enhance effectiveness in their propagation of the Prosperity Government's good works.

He then charged the team to be prompt, proactive and diligent in the discharge of their duties, especially in this face of the project DIRI CLEANS BAYELSA awareness campaign.

Excitingly, the visit ushered for sharing of ideas that will facilitate effective promotion of the Authority's good works in line with the Assured agenda of His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri to put Bayelsa State on the spotlight of cleanliness.
