Hon. A A LAWAN UBA (a PDP Loyalist) CALLED ADAMAWA SPEAKER AS A MONUMENTAL FAILURE.
A Loyalist of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State, Hon A A Lawan Uba blasted Rt Hon Aminu Iya Abbas, Speaker of the state House of Assembly as a “monumental failure.”
According to Lawan since Iya was voted into power in 2019 there is nothing tangible he has done to the people of Uba/Gaya, the constituency he is representing.
Lawan who considers himself Iya’s political ally and belongs to the same political party and unit, narrated how he played a vital role in making sure he won the last election.
He revealed that, Aminu is one of the unpopular politicians enjoying the mandate of the masses in the Adamawa State Assembly haven won his election with 13 scanty votes.
He revealed that “Iya never won the election, the APC candidate in our area gallantly won with over eight hundred votes, but Aminu received support from all stakeholders and the election was rigged in his favor. But in actual sense, I must tell you and the world should know that the APC Man in the person of Hayatu (Yello) won the election inarguably.
While calling the attention of Adamawa electorates, especially those from Uba/Gaya constituency to fight against the vaunting ambition of the speaker who is scheming his ways to contest for senator not to support him because his election as their representative and speaker doesn’t add any value to them.
“His dream of wanting to become a senator for the Central zone is a far-fetched one. I can not see it coming reality because we are no longer in the business of supporting a failure. This Man never contributed meaningfully to the development of our constituency, in the floor of the house I doubt it much if he has any law in the interest of Adamawa state.
“Unfortunately, I supported an underperforming lawmakers, it’s unfortunate we have a speaker who can not work for the masses of our dear state and a legislature who is after his personal interest.
“He is busy going around scheming how to contest Senatorial seat using Governor Ahmadu’s name. May I please tell my dear Governor that this Man can’t deliver anything good for our state, he doesn’t have the capacity and is not an electable and sellable political product.” Lawan
“Honorable Speaker Sir,
Good afternoon.
I learned you’re telling people that you and I, have become enemies.
This is quite disappointing to hear. However, if that’s what you want, so be it. I’m well equal to it
However, don’t forget how far we’ve come along.
Thank you…”
