✨ A little throwback to how my passion for media truly began ✨
In 2020, during the program Love Zone on 91.1 FM Gotel, I hosted a discussion on depression with a mental health expert. We talked about the causes, the struggles, and possible solutions.
That night, a listener called in. With a trembling voice, he shared how life had broken him to the point of buying poison to end it all. But just before taking it, something told him to turn on the radio. He tuned in—and heard our conversation about su***de and the importance of holding on.
He said listening to us brought calmness, gave him hope, and reminded him that life was still worth living. He thanked us for helping him find a reason to stay. 💛
That moment changed me. It showed me the power of radio—not just to entertain, but to heal, encourage, and even save lives.
🌍 Today, on World Su***de Prevention Day, I want to remind you:
Su***de is not the only option. No matter how heavy life feels, there is always another way. Please, speak up. Share your struggles with someone you trust. A problem shared is truly a problem half solved.
💚 You are not alone. Your life matters. Your story is still unfolding.
