Collaborative Power BI Lab Session at American University of Nigeria, Yola was an Inspiring Experience!
Last Saturday, our Lead Instructor and Data Analyst, Ms. Happiness Zacham Kabantiok, was invited by the Chair of Information Systems - Dr. Ibrahim Inuwa to lead an intensive lab session on Data Analysis and Visualization using Microsoft Power BI for some graduate students at the School of Information Technology and Computing (SITC), American University of Nigeria, Yola.
The session introduced students to practical hands-on using of Power BI, covering basic navigation and functionality, data importation and transformation, creation of interactive visualizations such as bar charts, pie charts, and line graphs, and understanding the importance of data visualization for better decision-making.
The lab session was lively and highly interactive, with students eager to learn, ask questions, and explore how Power BI can help them turn data into stories that drive meaningful change.
