Who Said Cooking, Cleaning, and Childcare Are “Feminine”?
Some men want to marry “a helper,”
But what they really want is a housemaid.
They say:
“A woman’s place is in the kitchen.”
But forget that Christ cooked fish for His disciples — and He’s the King of Kings!
They say:
“A wife should serve her husband.”
But forget that Jesus washed His followers' feet including Judas.
Let’s be honest:
What we call “feminine duties” are just home duties.
They don’t require ovaries.
They require maturity.
Cooking isn’t gendered, it’s love.
Cleaning isn’t weakness, it’s responsibility.
Caring for children isn’t “her job” it’s your seed too.
Marriage is not a boss-and-servant arrangement.
It’s a partnership of purpose.
Two builders, carrying the weight of a home.
Not one building, while the other watches football.
Even Proverbs 31, that famous “virtuous woman” passage,
Did not call her a house slave.
She was a businesswoman, a planner, a nurturer
And her husband praised her. Not oppressed her.
You want a queen,
But treat her like a maid.
You want a godly woman,
But forget God’s example of servanthood.
If your masculinity is threatened by a mop,
You’re not ready for marriage
You’re ready for counseling.
