Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

On this blessed and auspicious occasion of Eid Maulood, I extend my warmest felicitations to the entire Muslim Ummah in Northwest Nigeria, across our great nation, and around the world.

Today, as we commemorate the birth of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW), we are reminded of the greatest gift Allah (SWT) bestowed upon mankind — a Messenger whose life remains the perfect model of compassion, justice, humility, patience, and leadership. His teachings are not just lessons for Muslims but for humanity as a whole, guiding us towards a world founded on peace, mercy, and unity.

The Prophet (SAW) came at a time of darkness, disunity, and despair, yet through his unparalleled character and divinely inspired mission, he transformed hearts, healed divisions, and laid the foundations of a society built on equality, justice, and mutual respect. His example challenges us, especially in times like these, to rise above hatred and discord and to embrace tolerance, forgiveness, and love for one another.

As we reflect on his life, let us renew our commitment to:
• Strengthen the bond of brotherhood among Muslims and with humanity at large.
• Promote peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and compassion within our communities.
• Support initiatives that drive development, justice, and opportunity for all citizens.
• Pray fervently for our leaders to be guided with wisdom and fairness.

In my capacity as Chairman of the Northwest Development Commission, I reaffirm our dedication to working tirelessly towards transforming our region, uplifting the lives of our people, and fostering inclusive growth. We are determined to align our efforts with the values taught by the Prophet (SAW) — values of integrity, service, and compassion.

At this moment of spiritual reflection, I call upon all of us to pray for the peace, unity, and progress of our Northwest region, our dear nation Nigeria, and the entire Muslim Ummah. May Allah (SWT) shower His infinite blessings upon us, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us the strength to emulate the Prophet’s exemplary life.

Renewed Hope Agenda Gets Major Boost as Hon. Lawal Sama’ila Abdullahi Yakawada Appointed Chairman of All Commissions’ Boards

In a strategic move to advance the implementation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope National Development Agenda, the Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, has appointed Hon. Lawal Sama’ila Abdullahi Yakawada as the *Chairman of All Boards of Commissions* under the Federal Ministry of Regional Development.

The appointment, which takes immediate effect, places Hon. Yakawada at the forefront of coordinating strategic policies and programs across all commissions within the ministry. His core mandate includes enhancing synergy, driving collaboration, and ensuring effective ex*****on of the National Development Plan—particularly in accelerating regional integration and socio-economic development nationwide.

While announcing the appointment in Abuja, Minister Momoh described Yakawada as “a seasoned administrator, visionary leader, and patriotic Nigerian whose wealth of experience will be instrumental in consolidating President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.”

He added, “This appointment reflects Hon. Yakawada’s tested leadership and unwavering commitment to national progress. We are confident he will unify and guide the commissions to deliver impactful results for all Nigerians.”

A respected political figure and experienced public servant, Hon. Yakawada brings decades of expertise in governance, administration, and policy formulation. As Chairman, he is expected to lead innovative reforms that align commission activities with national priorities and deliver measurable benefits to citizens.

In his remarks, Hon. Yakawada thanked President Tinubu and Minister Momoh for the trust placed in him and pledged to work tirelessly to fulfill the mandate of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
