How I got my passport myself at the 26k official rate.

Do not be deceived, getting your passport is not that hard if you can just follow the step that has been provided by the Nigerian immigration.

First thing you need is to do away with the quick quick syndrome because that’s how they use in collecting your money and still make you wait.

While some might be lucky to get it early a lot cannot with the reform by Nigerian immigration unless you’re a diplomat or VIP

While at the issuance office I met people who paid 50k, 46k, 70k and were collecting their passport same time as me and some captured before me and some we captured the same month, so if you ask me, what the essence of the outrageous amount you paid?

Step 1:
Go to their website https://lnkd.in/dtDCmvXj and follow the step they’ve stated and make your 26k payment online, which is the only payment you make.

Step 2:
Book an appointment for capture, choose the nearest available date for you.

Step 3:
Make sure you start preparing all the required documents they mentioned for you to come with for your capture.
Guarantor’s form, you can stamp it at any customary court close to you, all your identification docs, birth cert, etc

Step 4:
Go to your chosen appointment office, either Abeokuta or Ibadan. You have to be there early so you can capture early because once is 2pm they stop capturing and you might have to reschedule which takes another time.

This is the point some people will rush you and start asking if you need your passport urgently so they can run it for you. E.g “There’s no paper so it will take time, pay 20k and they’ll push yours fast” Lies!
They’ll collect your money and give you stories.

After capturing and all they’ll give you your passport number and tell you to keep the number safe and come back in 6 weeks time with the number for your passport.
collect their inquiries number and call to ask for updates after 6 weeks.

They’ll let you know when your passport is ready and if they don’t answer you can go and check back in their office.

My dear good people of Ogun State and party faithful, as a young Eagle (politically), I rode on the great wings of our leader above the Olumo Rock and beyond, he showed and taught me many lessons. Just like every eagle that MUST take its first leap of fate, I joined other Guber aspirants from Ogun State and procured the 2023 Gubernatorial Expression of Interest and Nomination forms on the platform of our great Party, the 𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔 (𝐀𝐏𝐂) on Friday the 6th of May, 2022.

Someone once told me that “if your dreams does not scare you, then it’s not worth exploring”. Yes it is daunting and almost scary without the usual safety net, but this is one mandate that we all must undertake with clear conviction and determination to succeed. As l call on you once again, I must say that what kept me going in the last three years was your love, prayers, encouragement and sacrifices.

Dear compatriots, my aspiration to run for the highest office of our dear state once again, hinges on sustaining and complementing the giant infrastructural strides of past administrations, one of which I was privileged to have served in, between 2011-2015.

This morning, Sunday the 8th of May, 2022. I placed calls through to my co-aspirants and congratulated them for throwing their hats in the ring for the Ogun 2023 Guber contest. I assured them of my cooperation in the process and received same courtesy.

True vision and desire to serve should be selfless, devoid of acrimony and divisions. We are people destined for greatness, thus, this is the time to 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 and reposition the future of our dear state as envisioned by our forebearers.

Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alaafin of Oyo, is dead.

Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alaafin of Oyo and top Yoruba monarch, has died.

Alaafin Adeyemi, the third member of the Alowodu Ruling House, died on Friday night at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital in Ado Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State in South-West Nigeria.

According to palace sources, the remains of the top Yoruba traditional ruler were brought to Oyo town, 62 kilometers from Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, in the early hours of Saturday, and traditional rites began.

He was 83 years old and has been the longest reigning Alaafin in history, ruling for 52 years.
