We would like to inform you that you have 7 days left until the final deadline for submitting your clips for the fandubbing competition at Abunai 2025. Please be aware that this is a hard deadline since it is so close to the date of the convention.

Hi Fans!

We’re excited to officially announce the 8th edition of the Fandubbing Compo, taking place during the Abunai convention! So grab your microphones and fire up your editing software, this year’s event is going to be lit 🔥

🏆 Prize System:

As we introduced last year, we’re continuing with our Oscar-style award system, where prizes are awarded across a range of categories instead of just a traditional top 3. Here are a few examples:

• Best Voice Acting (Male)
• Best Voice Acting (Female)
• Best Remix/Edit
…and more!

There will still be a trophy for the best overal fandub and other unique prizes for standout entries!

Everyone has a chance to shine, so whether it’s your voice, your humor, or your editing magic. Now’s your time to impress us!

And that’s not all!
We’ve got a little extra in store for everyone attending the event. You really don’t want to miss it!

Hi Fans!
We would like to inform you that we will be hosting the 7th edition of the fandubbing compo during the Abunai convention. So get out your microphones and editing software because it will be a spectacle this year.
As opposed to previous years, we will no longer hand out prizes based on the top 3 submissions; instead we're introducing a new award system akin to the Oscars. Basically, we will be handing out prizes based on categories. To name a few examples:
• Best voice acting (male)
• Best voice acting (female)
• Best remixed edits.
Etc...
Everyone has a chance to win some prizes during our event, so what are you waiting for? Hit that record button and impress us with your voice, your humor or your editing skills!
The deadline is August 7.

Dear Fans,

The same requirements and rules as last year apply.

As for time, you're allowed finish a scene if it exceeds the 160 second limit by several seconds (so no need to make cuts). We trust that you will use this responsibly, so when selecting a clip to dub, try to keep it within reasonable range of those 160 seconds.

Dear Fans,

Please be aware that there's TWO days left until the deadline for fandub clip submissions. Once the deadline has been reached, we will begin the evaluation and grading process.

We encourage everyone that is still considering participation to make and send in a clip. We could still use some more entries in order to host an exciting event. Remember, there are some really nice prizes that you could be winning.
