releases his new EP ‘The Ascent’ today. This beautiful body of work marks a new chapter for Morpheus:

Thomas Azier, thank you for producing and co-writing this EP. The journey and discovery of this new sonic sound was so exciting and inspiring. I’m incredibly proud of all the songs.

Thank you Daniel von Piekartz, Polle van Genechten and Gary Go for shining your bright light on this EP. Thank you Ferran Huijsmans, for mixing it so beautifully and Tim Biesta for the master.

After two years of hard work - studio sessions, writing, finding his sound and voice - today marks the day Morpheus] has released his debut single ‘Morphosis’. It has already been an incredible journey, but this is only the start. We’re proud to be part of Morpheus’ team and helping him to grow into a superstar in its own right. Follow Morpheus] for his story, art and growth. Morpheus said the following about his debut:

“The world is a different place when you lose someone you love so dearly. The speed of time seems different, relationships deepen or disappear. Perspective changes.
And in some cases, it becomes the seed of transformation.

The unexpected passing of my mother had and still has a big impact on me. It was a bolt from the blue for everyone. And apart from missing her intensly, it made me so aware of how precious time is.

Shortly after, I found a list she made with all the postponed dreams she had. This revealed to me that every second pretending to be someone else, is a wasted one. I started to see the sadness as an invitation to celebrate my voice, my taste, my opinions and my dreams. It made me want to reveal the hidden parts of me to be unapologetically myself.

Today I'm breaking from my shell.
My debut song Morphosis is now yours, a song in which I introduce and celebrate my truest self.
