Biography (Short)
DJ Slave (a.k.a. Arnold Farkas) has been a driving force in the electronic scene since
1998, performing in legendary clubs across the Netherlands such as Sugarfactory,
Chicago Social Club, Westergasterras and CUEbar Amsterdam, as well as hosting shows
on international radio and TV channels like VIVA+ and MTV Hungary. A regular performer
at Amsterdam Dance Event and finalist of the renowned TWSTd DJ contest, he is known
for his powerful, tribal and groovy techno and tech-house sets.
With over 25 releases on vinyl and digital, his productions have charted across
Amsterdam’s underground. He co-hosts the Spectrum Techno radio show and has played
at iconic events like TECHNO TUESDAY by InDeep ’n’ Dance Records.
Beyond DJ Slave, he also performs as Arquen, delivering deep and progressive house
journeys for smaller clubs and open-air festivals, especially known for his warm and
emotional sunset sets.
