Witnessing the ancient Sema ceremony in Konya is pure magic. ✨

​From the glowing dome of the Mevlana Cultural Center to the hypnotic dance of the Whirling Dervishes, this ritual is a beautiful, moving meditation on Rumi’s message of divine love.

You can see their spiritual journey unfold as they shed the heavy black cloaks of the ego to step forward in pure white robes, spinning to connect the heavens and the earth.
