This year marks 75 years since the Palestinians became, and still are, the biggest refugee group in the world. The human rights declaration states that each refugee has the right to return to their homeland after displacement. How can we prepare master plan alternatives for the return of the biggest refugee group in the world?

During this event we will have a dialogue with different speakers such as Umayya Abu Hanna , Rams Nasir, Victoria McKenzie, Orwa Switat , Salman Abu Sitta, Malkit Shoshan and Lilet Breddels about how we could re-imagine the future of the Holy Land and design the right to return.

De symbiotische stad: een stad die één is met de natuur, grondstoffen van onze planeet beschermt en biodiversiteit herstelt. Een stad waar bodem, water, wind en levende organismen weer met elkaar verbonden zijn in de stedelijke omgeving. Deze avond presenteert Marian Stuiver, als redacteur en mede-auteur, het boek ‘The Symbiotic City, voices of nature in urban transformations.’ Een verhaal van hoop met volop inspiratie over een toekomst waar biodiversiteit groeit en sociale gelijkheid, inclusie en milieurechtvaardigheid de standaard zijn.

Het nieuws staat in 2022 vol met de gevolgen van de stikstofcrisis. De boodschap is duidelijk, we stoten in Nederland teveel stikstof uit. In de afgelopen jaren zijn er al verschillende maatregelen ingevoerd om de stikstof uitstoot terug te dringen. De verantwoordelijkheid voor deze uitstoot ligt echter niet enkel binnen bepaalde sectoren, maar bij de gehele samenleving. Hoe kunnen we als samenleving uit de stikstof crisis komen?
