Earlier this year, live at TivoliVredenburg, Fuse took on Thelonious Monk’s “Well, You Needn’t” with playful energy, and a clear love for Monk’s musical language.🎻

Monk is known for his witty, instantly recognizable hooks and unpredictable twists. This jazz classic gives every player room to bring out their own character, and that’s exactly what Fuse embraces in this interpretation.

Recorded by Moon Music Studios.
Camera & edit by Doron Tempert.

Great to see Bonfire featured among this week’s finest new classical releases.

The track is inspired by the feeling of sitting around a fire, with steady rhythms and rich, warm sounds. It slowly grows in intensity, creating a deep and emotional atmosphere that feels both personal and shared.

Florin Mantale dives into the dark, vivid world of Sergei Rachmaninoff in “Étude-Tableau Op. 39 No. 2 in A minor.” With poetic sensitivity and “hypnotic precision,” Mantale shapes the work’s dramatic contrasts and rich textures into a compelling narrative.

Congratulations to Verwey, and thank you, Spotify!

With over 80,000 monthly listeners and more than 1.5 million streams, The Swan is off to a fantastic start.

This beautiful composition is an adventurous reinterpretation of Saint-Saëns’ classic Le Cygne. Slow, tender, and full of nuance, Verwey’s recording truly shines through its playfulness.

We’re happy to introduce braem. Neoclassical guitar built on stillness, space, and restraint. Where most of the genre lives at the piano, braem strips it back to one acoustic guitar; no effects, no noise, just direct communication between player and listener.

Bram Stadhouders built an international career in electric guitar, improvisation, and contemporary music. After years of constant movement, he withdrew to a cabin in the woods, where silence reawakened his classical guitar, braem emerged as a return to intimacy and simplicity.

Around a Butterfly is out now and moves in a fragile, minimal circle; quiet, cinematic, and deeply focused on feeling over form.

L'Equipe Lab returns with Tranquilo. Infused with a heavy Latin flavor, the song reminds us of the Narcos soundtrack. What do you think?
