Why does Mark Zuckerberg always look like he’s about to unhinge his jaw like a snake?

SPIRAL works as a collective of artists, activists, writers, students and scholars from our sister cities: Berlin, Amsterdam, Kyiv, Warsaw, Goiania, Luxembourg, Paris and Manchester.

Our submissions are always open and we always welcome new people to join our wonderful team. That's because SPIRAL represents compositionality: individuals who interact together in order to create something greater than themselves. Hence, we are always expanding and are always eager to work with people from all around the world.

Across SPIRAL’s sister cities, we will thus see invigorated and continuous dialogue between individuals and communities in a responsible and uniting fashion. Openness and transparency will always take centre stage in SPIRAL’s network of sister cities, as it is only through open discussion and creative interaction that we can make the most of our diverse and multi-cultural web of creatives.

Welcome to SPIRAL!

So glad to see you stop by.

SPIRAL is an online publication by our international collective located in sister cities in different corners of the world. Our family includes like-minded artists, students and creatives who want to be a part of a community that supports, inspires and takes care of each other through creating written, visual and audio-visual pieces.

Our mission is not only to raise awareness on subjects that matter but to provide a space to publish work that is perhaps unwanted elsewhere. Many young creators, ranging from freelance writers to freelance sculptors, have a very hard time finding experience in the creative and academic fields. These are often underfunded and only accept people based on their previous merits.

At SPIRAL, we want to do things a little differently. We want to work alongside our authors and artists, curate their content and help them achieve the finished product they can be proud of.

We don’t leave anyone behind. Submissions are always open, so whatever it is that you’ve been working on - send it over! We also always have something to do so don’t be shy, write to us and join one of our charming teams.
