Our next release, “Do si dos”, is a 3-track EP featuring Mtps, a name that has been making waves in the underground electronic music scene lately. Originally from Romania, his sound makes us consider him one of the country’s most promising artists nowadays and definitely a name to watch in the coming years.

“Do si dos” opens the EP with a captivating flow of sounds, focusing on a carefully constructed framework of pure minimalism. Every element finds its place within the space, creating an immersive sound progression that reveals more with each listen.

“Skip Step” follows with a perfectly balanced interplay of wooden and metallic percussion. Its precise rhythmic structure is accompanied by a cold, deep and haunting voice, adding an unexpected layer of tension and character to the track.

“Captured” closes the EP with a raw and stripped-back approach, putting the focus on the essence of sound and construction. Nothing feels excessive and every detail contributes to a solid, uncompromising piece built around texture, space and rhythm.

The day kicks off at Pelican Boat by D’arc, where the music flows under the open sky and on the river. As the sun goes down, the party moves indoors to Wizards, keeping the energy alive all the way until sunrise.

Leading the lineup is Royce Laroca from Brazil, alongside G.G. from Beirut. Laminim’s trio for this event is again represented by Albert Valentino (co-founder), currently based in Dublin, alongside Flaviu and Gust. Nicula and Da Chan, founders of foniclab, will complete the lineup.

The first five collaborations helped us all understand how special music and cultural diversity are. We hope the next five will inspire at least as much as the first five did. We constantly dive into new corners of the world, and we are grateful to make so many meaningful connections that help us grow and better understand the audio spectrum of the contemporary underground electronic music community.

We kick off the second half of our series with Mulov, the founder of Wounderground. Originally from Brașov, Romania, he is the architect behind the fast-growing audio movement, with an unquestionable desire to provide an elegant and delicate sound experience for the community.

We’re back at laminim with Gudj, the Manchester-based artist pushing once again the frontiers of the minimal sound to incredible heights. He has become a staple name in the underground electronic music industry among those who truly understand the art of minimal and techno. Gudj is a name that has resonated deeply with the connoisseurs of the global underground scene over the past years of his activity.

His latest release, Deep Protocol EP, captures the pulse of the dance floor through his signature rhythms and textures, representing the unmistakable late-night energy that defines his sound best.

“Deep Protocol” opens the EP with a rolling, hypnotic groove that slowly unfolds through layers of subtle percussion and textured basslines. Designed for the deeper hours of the night, it’s an unforgettable journey through rhythm and restraint, a perfect tool for selectors who understand the power of minimalism. This track is built for those who value precision and atmosphere over excess, speaking directly to the perfectionists of the underground.

“Revelations” follows with a more introspective yet equally driving approach, blending deep vocals and warm tones with intricate grooves. It reveals Gudj’s deeper emotional palette, meditative, refined, and meticulously structured. This track connects with the more reflective side of the dance floor, where emotion and motion intertwine, appealing to DJs and listeners who seek substance within the minimal spectrum.

When we started our journey about two years ago, it was clear to all of us at laminim that our main focus would always be the people walking alongside us. Both the audience and the artists have shaped us, and continue to shape us, into a better version of ourselves every day.

Most importantly, over the past years we’ve learned that everything has an end, but every beginning depends solely on ourselves. We’ve learned to laugh, to cry, and to look back with gratitude for all the memories and moments we’ve shared with amazing people and our audience.

One of the most important milestones for us was definitely Cata joining us with Sky Bridge, our first-ever EP released on laminim. We will always be deeply grateful and hold great respect for the support and trust he showed us at the very beginning of our journey. He has been, and will always be, an important member of our family.

That being said, Cata is officially joining us again for his second release on Laminim: Foreign Language, a three-track EP (Claro, The Game, Songwriter) that we believe best captures the essence of our vision, “simple music that moves the body and the spirit.”

Claro’s hypnotic sequence and vocals come together to create a powerful minimal arrangement that represents the solid foundation of Cata’s sound, something he has been carefully shaping for years.

With The Game, the mood shifts: a deep melodic bass and tight percussion symmetrically define the track’s direction, while the vocals follow and drive the rhythm. They effortlessly embed themselves into the listener’s ear and soul, making it a piece you’ll want to return to again and again.

Finally, Songwriter is the perfect way to describe Cata, this is who he truly is and what he does best. Guided by instinct and inspired by his background as a music producer, he brings together warming vocals and a raw minimal atmosphere infused with repetitive tribal influences that carry the groove forward.
