BLOK is jouw stem, mijn stem, onze stem. Check onze pagina en hoor ons geluid! Een plek waar wij via spoken word, vlogs en blogs onze stem laten horen.

Amsterdam kent vele getalenteerde bloggers, jonge schrijvers, fotografen en jongeren met een mening, onder andere in Amsterdam-West en -Oost. Deze jongeren zijn regelmatig onderwerp van mediaberichtgeving, maar hun stem horen we te weinig. Wij, jonge journalisten, beeldmakers en jongerenwerkers Corina, Vera, Samia, Zoë, Mouaad en Samir zien tijdens hun buurtactiviteiten dagelijks het talent van de

ze jongeren, maar ook de frustratie van zich niet gerepresenteerd voelen. Daarom willen wij een platform voor en door jongeren opzetten, waar er wel ruimte is voor onze stem. Lijkt het je interessant? Kom dan op dinsdag 19:00 naar de Meevaart in Amsterdam-Oost!

At home, away from home

I am traveling around the globe.
to get inspiration and some hope
how to become a voice to be heard,
in this world of deafening words,
which mean nothing of importance. A
but only push the power romance

Love and solidarity, I understand,
I will find in the house of my good friend.
who listens and understands my words.
I listen to her written birds.

And you, when you are away from home,
And look for hope and warmth.
Come and listen to us,
The voiceless swarm

We listen silently to strangers.
And have a lot to give and say.
And get and give you love,
and room to stay.
You will feel at home,
When from home away

Lowlands Poem

4 days of Lowlands
4 days of love, music and peace
What do we want more?

Work that is satisfying,
Though maybe boring,
Like the industrious ants persevere
Because it contributes
To this peaceful community.

We want the artists
To make us wonder our reality

We want the loving people
Who may not be efficient
But who teach us solidarity
and all that is more important
then efficiency.

4 days of lowlands
4 days of inspiration
To change my reality.

The I is important

I feel the pressure to shine
To regard everything as mine
but like a herd of elephants,
only one can be the prime

isn't it better to share the shine,
so everyone feels : the vibe is mine
and glowers mighty proud
When living as equal in the crowd

Where everyone cares for each other
the sane, the cripple,
the mother and the father
the sister and the brother.

Then the shine gives really peace
And harmony, thus please
Share and love and give
That is my message
The I is important
But the WE is my wish

Kom naar het Freedom Fighters Festival 2023. van 23-25 juni, met mooie workshops en aandacht voor de eerste basisschool in Amsterdam waar het kinderrechten verdrag en het verdrag handicap in de statuten staan. zie

De prognose is dat Dirk De Wachter nog een paar jaar te leven heeft. Darmkanker. Hij schreef een boek over wat hem op het dieptepunt troost gaf.
