With the ‘Orientalis EP’, Bart Blankman takes listeners on a sonic journey that explores the boundaries between East and West, tradition and modernity. The three-part release showcases the versatility of the title track through two unique reinterpretations.

The original ‘Orientalis’ forms the beating heart of this EP. Blankman has created a fascinating paradox here: despite the deliberate, low BPM, an urgent, almost hypnotic rhythmic feel emerges that immediately captivates the listener. The oriental influences are subtly yet powerfully woven into the composition, with traditional melodic elements seamlessly merging with modern production techniques. The result is a track that feels both meditative and energetic - a testament to Blankman’s ability to build emotional tension within a seemingly calm structure.

Kind Of One dives into the deeper layers of the original with his remix, creating an introspective variant that exposes new dimensions of the track. Where Blankman touches the surface of emotion, Kind Of One digs deeper and reveals the dark undertones hidden within the original. This interpretation invites contemplation and provides space for personal reflection.

Ed Noodle takes a radically different approach, transforming ‘Orientalis’ into a more direct, energetic experience. By increasing the tempo and adding sharp edges, he retains the essence of Blankman’s composition while completely reshaping it for the dancefloor. The oriental DNA remains recognizable, but gains an urgency and intensity that perfectly suits a more dynamic setting.

Together, these three versions form a complete musical dialogue - from the original vision through deep introspection to explosive energy. The ‘Orientalis EP’ demonstrates how one composition can contain different emotional landscapes, depending on the lens through which it is viewed

We are Orientaldeep, an event organization founded by friends. Raised in one of the oldest civilizations, the Middle East, We have lived our lives seeking and creating warmness in every aspect of life.

We have found that Rhythm and movements connect people through their soul rather than their background. Knowing so we aspire to create a safe environment where artists can freely express themselves. Where music and rhythm will bring us together and different cultures will mix into one. Where the paint will capture our feelings and where dancing will be the form of communication.

We want to re-invent our world. To live with fantasy and spread colors. We will create an open space for artists, so they will always have a place to re-invent our world. We feel the desire to create endless space for storytellers, where narrate infinite stories, dances, fantasies, voodoos, and red sands find their way into our reality. Where we can be insatiable listeners and creators of bright colors. Where images fade into sounds, flowing into a river of visions, inventing a piece of music for a soul.

We are a place where fantasy, stories, and reality melt into a unique twine of music and natural sounds.
