Sad to hear about the passing of Andrew Matheson, frontman of The Hollywood Brats.

A true pioneer ahead of his time, bridging the gap between glam and punk.

If you're unfamiliar with their music, check out their 1973 album, which features great raw rock 'n roll tracks, including "Sick On You" and "Tumble With Me". Tracks which would later be re-recorded by first wave punk band The Boys.

He also wrote a really good biography about the pioneering days called "Sick On You" as well.
