NDYŪKÅ RHYTHMS’ second release is here.

Rooted in his own Japanese culture, Toru Ikemoto draws inspiration from ancient beliefs such as animism and Shinto, translating the spirituality of nature into his own musical language. Combining mathematical rhythm structures, traditional ritual music, and organic sounds, he creates hypnotic techno that connects spirituality, movement, and nature, with the hope of contributing, even in a small way, to world peace.

The second release on will be by one of my favourite producers and, more importantly, one of my favourite human beings in this scene.

Toru is an artist who treats his tracks and music as something deeper. For him, there needs to be meaning behind the music, a way to express his feelings, ideas and vision.

This 4-track EP is pure, heavy and deep, yet consistent and full of detail, keeping you engaged from beginning to end.

I’m very proud to have this one as the second release on NDYŪKÅ Rhythms.

Last weekend after playing two big shows at the amazing I N O T A and elrow it was time for the last show of the weekend, which was a very special one to me.

We as Eerste Communie teamed up with our lovely well respected ORPHIC to do an illegal rave together. Back to the roots, back where we came from. We kept it intimate, spread the word just 5 days before and informed our day 1’s our plans. No online involvement, no promotion, just word on the streets mentality.

Honestly it was exactly what i needed, where my love for the scene came from. Where my love for this music came from. The feeling of unity, of doing it together. People caring for one another. Everybody dancing on the what so called sandy dancefloor. It was beautiful and unique once again. Before the end, 16 hours later approx 250 people were already busy cleaning up to make sure we weren’t left behind with all the mess. These details show how beautiful and caring this community can be. I would be lying if i would say i always thought it was still here. With all the fame, love and hate, different opions and jealousy which is all a part of the game too, you sometimes lose sight of the core indentity of what this is all about. The past year i had moments where i felt more disconnected to the scene and this really brought me a fresh look to it all again. Something i knew was always there but had to experience, see and feel again.

It was inspirational and truly lovely. Thank you all who came out and contributed to this positive vibe all day long.

Special thanks to De Fik for providing the mobile bar. Lucas and Melle for providing the amazing soundsystem.

I came with a neutral approach. Not knowing what to expect. Thrown into the unknown. 9000 people in a tent who are not a techno crowd by heart. who might have not known what they were coming for or who they were about to hear. It got me slightly uncomfortable on stage trying to get a crowd moving but it was a challenge and a nice one! Thank you for giving me the stage to introduce my sound to many who might not have been familiar with and for them connect to me.

From the dancefloor, for the dancefloor.

It was too good to be back. Definitely one of my favourite festivals to play. The location is obviously amazing but the crowd is giving! A nice mixture of different people coming together and connecting through music. Sounds very cliché but not a given thing on a weekly basis. It’s important for me to treat it as the most special at all times. It was a together thing and i thank you for that positive energy. ✊🏽🤎
