Aisling Brouwer provides the necessary insight into the creative process of composing the music for the Apple TV series The Buccaneers. Music that she made together with her AVAWAVES colleague Anna Phoebe. A very complex project because there were also quite a few songs in the series.

Joost Diederen, an Amsterdam-based composer and sound designer, explores the fusion of music and sound to create unique, sonic identities for film projects. Holding a master’s from the Film Scoring Academy of Europe, he’s worked with ensembles from string groups to full orchestras and contributed to various artistic and commercial projects.

Composer Lucas Wiegerink discovered that there is music in the sounds of our body, from the pumping of the heart, the gurgling of the stomach to the newly discovered sound signals with which microbes in our bodies communicate. He incorporated those sounds into a catchy opera for children: 'Het Lijflied'. Dimitri van der Werf talked to Lucas Wiegerink about his opera.
