Today we were invited to the opening dinner of Yotam Ottolenghi’s new restaurant in Amsterdam, located at the Conservatorium Hotel. The wonderful Yotam wrote a beautiful endorsement in our book The Pickled City; “What a beautiful portrait of a city, a dish, a culture! It blew my mind to see the history of one of my favorite things to eat woven through the tale of the most iconic of cities. More than anything, it made me want to crack open a jar of pickles, at once.” Thank you, Yotam, for the wonderful dinner—it was truly delightful.
