The outdoor season was amazing, but it’s time to move inside! 🏀🔥

As the weather cools down, 3X3 Unites is officially moving inside for the new indoor season—and we’ve got a stacked lineup ready for you!

We’re building further on a solid lineup of indoor locations across the country, including:

📍 Nijmegen – Sportzaal Onder St. Steven (Sundays, 18:30 - 20:30) After a brief break and an incredible turnout over the past few weeks, our Leaders have shown that Nijmegen is fully ready for a permanent weekly schedule!

📍 Zwolle – Industrial Urban Location near Zwolle Station (Tuesdays, Fridays & Saturdays, 19:00 - 21:00) Surrounded by other urban sports, we’re hosting no less than 3 weekly sessions in a cool, industrial setting right near the central station.

📍 Hoofddorp – Sporthal F***y Blankers Koen (Sundays, 18:30 - 20:30) A strong home base for years with a hugely active community, both during weekly sessions and at major events.

📍 Leiden – Kikkerpolder (Sundays, 13:00 - 15:00) Active in Leiden for the first time this year! A super popular session tailored specifically for the 18+ crowd.
..and this is just a glimpse of what's on the schedule!

Whether you’re joining a 3X3 Leader Course, competing in a tournament, or pulling up for a pickup game, it’s all about playing hard, connecting with the community, developing yourself, and having fun. Our 3X3 Leaders are ready to welcome you!

One week ago, history was made at Museumplein! 🏀✨

We officially opened the new Legacy Art Court, designed by . But this court is about so much more than basketball.

Munir’s design connects directly to what 3X3 Unites builds every day: places where young people can grow, connect with their community, and discover their strength through 3x3 basketball.

And from day one, that’s exactly what happened:
🔥 48 players took to the court, joined by local residents, kids, and visitors.
🎙️ Powerful words from Ruben, Munir, and Thomas Hermans on what this space means for the neighborhood.
💥 Instead of a traditional ribbon cutting, we officially opened the court with an alley-oop dunk!

Our 3X3 Leaders drove the entire day—handling production, refereeing, and running challenges. With 100+ people, great music, and food, the court immediately became what it was always meant to be:

A place to play.
A place to connect.
A place to grow. 💛

Leaders of Unites #141 - Yai Maria

“From all those separate bricks, you could create one big thing.”

Born and raised in the Bijlmer, 17-year-old transformed his childhood love for building Lego creations into a passion for teamwork and community building. After realizing baseball wasn’t his game, Yai discovered basketball in secondary school—a sport that challenged him both physically and technically, while fostering the strong team spirit he values most.

Yai’s journey with 3X3 Unites began when local coordinator Mike Nasibdar invited him to join the 3X3 Young Leader Course. He quickly realized it was about far more than just playing basketball: it was about life skills, communication, and bringing people together. After completing both the Young and regular Leader Courses, Yai put those lessons into practice by organizing community events and managing local activations. Today, he runs three activations a week and is a key member of the Paper Dome team.

For Yai, 3X3 Unites represents personal growth—symbolized by the watch he proudly bought with his first salary from the organization, and a keychain with the letter 'Y' that reminds him to stay true to himself and help others. Looking ahead as he starts his sports education, Yai aims to keep growing within 3X3 Unites, with a dream to one day introduce a spoken word department to combine language, feeling, and community.

History made at Museumplein! 🏀✨

We officially opened the new Legacy Art Court, designed by Munir de Vries! Basketballers, locals, and community members gathered for a day filled with pure hoops, music, and energy.

48 players battled it out in custom reversible jerseys, followed by powerful words from Ruben, Munir, and borough driver Thomas Hermans on what this court means for the neighborhood. And instead of a boring ribbon cutting? We officially opened the court with an alley-oop dunk! 🔥

Huge shoutout to Raul and our 3X3 Leaders for running production, refereeing, and hosting challenges where kids and visitors won awesome goodies. We wrapped up with tournament finals and community pick-up games.

With over 100+ people, music, and food, the court was immediately used as intended: a place to connect, play, and unite. 💛
