Testing Polyend Mess with this deep glitchy patch

Underworld’s “Play Pig” is from the Riverrun era (mid-2000s), where Hyde’s writing became even more impressionistic and urban-surreal than before.

What it seems to mean:

* “low grey buildings”
evokes post-industrial city landscapes — concrete estates, warehouses, brutalist architecture, anonymous urban spaces.
* “architecture for the blind”
is metaphorical:
* cities designed without human feeling,
* functional but emotionally dead spaces,
* environments people move through automatically, half-asleep.

It sounds like Hyde describing a city that is ugly and alienating, yet strangely magnetic.
