The next couple of years promise to be quite interesting for electric cars. The Audi e-tron will start production next year at an Audi plant in Brussels, and will evolve the styling and powertrain components from the e-tron quattro concept that first appeared at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The concept had a 95-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack and three electric motors—one at the front, two at the rear—providing a total of 369 kilowatts (496 horsepower) and 590 lb-ft of torque.

NASA has been recording the ebb and flow of life on our planet, year after year, for the past two decades.

The space agency has sped the footage up to create a remarkable timelapse that shows, over the course of a couple of minutes, just how much things have changed on Earth.
The most striking detail is the receding polar ice caps as a result of climate change, but it also shows changing heat patterns of the oceans and the encroaching greenery on places that used to be too cold for it.

“These are incredibly evocative visualisations of our living planet,” said Gene Carl Feldman, a NASA oceanographer.

NASA is saying goodbye to Saturn with a newly-processed photo of the ringed planet taken during the last day of the Cassini mission.

The photo shows Saturn in all its sunlit glory, glowing gold against the blackness of space.

Cassini snapped the series of images that were stitched together to create this photo on September 13 before making its plunge into Saturn's atmosphere on September 15, destroying the spacecraft in the process.
