I’m excited to share this wonderful project from fellow local business owner Baked by Madison!

🌸 WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESS CELEBRATION! 🌸

In celebration of Women's Equality Day this week, I wanted to create something that does more than simply mark the occasion. The Bloom Box was created as a way to celebrate, support, and introduce you to women-owned businesses throughout our local community while doing what I love most: baking something delicious.

Over the past few weeks, I've connected with women business owners throughout the Capital Region, purchased ingredients from local women-owned producers, and gathered more than 20 businesses together to create one very special occasion.

Introducing: The Bloom Box! Each box has 12 treats (4 varieties) of homemade baked goods featuring ingredients produced by local women owned businesses. Each box contains:

This week has been a reminder of exactly why I fell in love with river cruising. ❤️🚢

There’s something special about waking up in a new destination each day, wandering storybook villages, standing atop centuries-old fortresses, tasting local food and wine, and slowing down enough to truly experience each place.

And getting to share this journey with five incredible fellow travel advisors has made it even more memorable. Today I’m in 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗴, 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 which is home to one of Europe’s most magical Christmas markets. Even in the middle of summer, you can feel the city’s Christmas spirit. 🎄✨

Now imagine experiencing Strasbourg when the streets are glowing with lights, the markets are in full swing, and the scent of mulled wine and fresh gingerbread fills the air.

Day 5 | River Cruising, Redefined 🍻🇩🇪

📍Heidelberg, Germany
Today was all about experiencing Heidelberg through one of its oldest traditions…beer!

We wandered the charming streets of Old Heidelberg, visited local breweries, learned about the art (and history!) of brewing, and discovered how beer has been woven into the city’s culture for centuries. Along the way, we enjoyed authentic German cuisine for lunch and, of course, sampled a few local brews. 🍺

This is another reason I love itineraries like this. It’s not just about seeing a destination; it’s about experiencing it through its history, flavors, and local traditions. Every excursion offers a deeper connection to the places you visit.

And yes… Heidelberg is just as charming as everyone says. ❤️
