We are at ZKM - Zentrum für Kunst und Medien Karlsruhe for the second part of the ZUSE Z22 restoration effort!
Here are some pictures of our work in progress.
A lot of schematics, fixing the Zuse module tester, using it to check every tube module, understanding the ancient schematics and discovering a lot of new stuff about this amazing computer… with the help of an amazing local team and some remote help!
More details will follow, hopefully we can write more detailed reports from now on.
We are working hard to ensure that this historical machine from 1956, German National Heritage, will be working again.
