Largest Masked Ball of the Netherlands Raises €1,204,350 in the Fight Against HIV and AIDS.

During the 31st edition of Het Amsterdam Diner, more than 1,000 invited guests enjoyed a spectacular evening on 14 June, 2025. Among the attendees were prominent figures from the Netherlands and abroad, including well-known names from the arts and media, politicians, HIV scientists, leaders of Dutch industry, and members of the Dutch Royal Family.

The evening, centered on the powerful theme Reach Out, raised an impressive €1,204,350 to support the fight against HIV and AIDS.

Two works by art photographer – Pakachelle Boy III and Natural Crown – from his Champions series with , have been added to the permanent collection of in Amsterdam.

The series, features powerful black-and-white portraits that highlight the resilience and dignity of young adults in Zambia living with or fighting against HIV and AIDS.

This acquisition marks an important milestone in Woudt’s career. Previously, his work has been included in the collections of the in Los Angeles and in Bergen.

“As the most prestigious museum in the Netherlands and one of the world’s leading museums, the Rijksmuseum is home to centuries of Dutch art history. To be part of this legacy is a great honor and a significant moment in my career,” says Bastiaan Woudt.

As Amsterdam celebrates 750 years, commemorates a legacy of its own — 50 years of pioneering hospitality in the heart of the city, at Leidseplein, and having welcomed over 10 million guests.

RB | PR led the full PR and event production of this golden anniversary, in collaboration with creative partner .amsterdam. The evening welcomed David Marriott, Chairman of the Board of Marriott International, alongside Satya Anand, President EMEA, and Neal Jones, Chief Operating Officer.

Guests were greeted with champagne, followed by a sparkling surprise from . Live art, music by DJ and , and a vibrant crowd turned the night into a true tribute to timeless hospitality.

This summer marks the international expansion of Amsterdam’s acclaimed live-fire restaurant Nela, with the launch of its first seasonal pop-up at the on island’s west coast. Opening privately on 21 May and welcoming the public from 22 May, the restaurant is set to become the island’s culinary hotspot of the season.

Chefs and , together with 7Pines Executive Chef , present a refined menu rooted in local, seasonal ingredients.
