2015 is the inaugural year of Abbey Road Institute. Our objective is to provide our students with the highest standard of theoretical teaching mixed with our unique approach to studio education. We maintain the highest educational standards, support ‘hands-on’ practical learning, provide the best professional lecturers and give students access to state of the art equipment. Above all else we want to share our passion for what we do.

We're inviting all ARI alumni from Amsterdam, Paris, London, Miami, Germany, Johannesburg, and our wider global network who plan to attend the Amsterdam Dance Event 2026! We have an incredible event coming up and would like to invite you.

EUROPEAN SYNC CAMPS IS BACK DURING ADE WEEK! This year, Abbey Road Institute is partnering with WPP, BMG and Neva Land Music for a two-day songwriting camp.

The camp brings together music creation, production and networking, connecting a diverse group of creative professionals from both the music and advertising industries.

European Sync Camps is a partnership between Scholz & Friends Sounds, WPP’s in-house music agency, and Neva Land Music, a Dutch artist management agency. Together, they bring exciting and relevant brands and campaigns seeking electronic music.

Looking forward to seeing what comes out of this one!

Vinyl sales are still rising, so knowing how to prepare your music for vinyl mastering is more important than ever. Who would have imagined that 20 years ago? :) We love vinyl and think it’s super cool to see our students share that same warm feeling for this great medium. Frederic, or for friends, is taking them through its history and the different approaches today in Studio 1.

Also, if you want to learn more about vinyl mastering and its possibilities, you can meet Frederic in person, or explore career options in the rapidly growing vinyl industry, come to the career fair at the Make Vinyl Conference this Friday, in Haarlem from . Registration is required, though. Friday’s programme is extensive and interesting for anyone with an interest in this vibrant and beautiful industry. This year we’re collaborating with Making Vinyl on a career-focused programme and career fair. The music industry is actively seeking new talent. In partnership with Making Vinyl, Record Industries Haarlem and several international vinyl companies, we’re hosting a programme and career fair on the Friday of the Making Vinyl conference in Haarlem. The Business Plan presentations kicked off today! 🎓

As part of their final term, our full-time students develop a business plan focused on their next steps in the music industry. Working individually or in small groups, they bring together their ambitions, ideas and practical plans for turning them into something that can actually work.

It’s part career plan, part business idea, and a chance to think seriously about where they want to go after graduation.

Zoey was the first to kick things off, which made the first presentation of the week extra exciting, to say the least! Over the next three days, all students will present their plans and receive feedback from a panel of industry professionals.

Good luck to all our full-time students as you take these final steps in the programme. We can’t wait to see where you take your ideas next. 🚀
