It is without a doubt that we as humans are easily distracted. “Smell the roses” is a common expression used to remind ourselves to stop and live in the m
oment. Often times, we become so distracted by our own fixations, or visual obsessions that everything else around us becomes a blur or goes unnoticed. The purpose of this workshop is to guide people through the discovery of moments hidden or masked by our own tunnel vision. With the simple technique of image and frame we can bring light to moments that would otherwise be lost forever. These re-framed images will also act as a photographic timestamp of the LA Art Book Fair that document and amplify the many personalities that inhabit the space. There will be printed postcards of the framed images, designed and printed directly in the space with the participants. Workshop Requirements:
