Poland 🇵🇱 is a wonderful travel destination for fall and winter seasons! ❄️

Have you been to any of these 5 places? ⬇️

1. Sandomierz is a historical gem of Świętokrzyskie region.
Located in south-eastern Poland this cozy town can take you for a pleasant walk into polish history. Locally named “small Cracow” may resemble one of the most important cities of Poland but it’s definitely less crowded and less known by tourists yet you shouldn’t be one of the travellers who miss out on it! 🏰

2. Zalipie - the most colourful village in Europe. This place is a tru hidden gem. You may be the only tourist here at the time of your arrival yet it is the most unique place you can find in whole Europe. All of the buildings houses in this village are hand painted by locals according to their traditional techniques. You will be able to explore local culture thanks to museums located in the village and maybe you’ll be lucky enough to attend a workshop with local artists 🎨

3. Kraków polish city of the dragon 🐉 and please don’t tell us you’ve never heard of the Wawels’ dragon….
We love this city as it seamlessly blends history and modern world together. You can find some of the most beautiful historical gems like Wawel castle or the 14th century St. Mary’s Church as well as the best events, parties and clubs in Poland! To us: daytime sightseeing and nighttime party it is! 😎

4. Zakopane as the ideal hiking and nature-lovers escape! The place offers so many hiking trails across the famous Tatra mountains you will never get bored (but you will get tired). At night or during poor weather conditions you will have a cute highlanders town to explore where you’ll find cultural and entertaining museums, local cuisine and many regional attractions. Being there you have to try oscypki and hike at least one trail (we recommend Morskie Oko) 🏔️

5. Częstochowa offers the most to Christian pilgrims but if you do not belong to that group you can still admire the outstanding architecture of the numerous vintage churches and buildings ⛪️

Kochi made dreams come true ✨

In a completely not expected turn of events as soon as we entered Kochi our eyes spotted a gathering of festively dressed people. Men and women singing, chanting and expressing happiness in front of a newly opened store is not an uncommon sight in India 🇮🇳 but that’s not what was important for Gabi.

Her face lit up instantly and I knew I’ll have to pull up our bike by that store. Among the crowd was a true, real, magnificent elephant! Dressed in gold and festive fabrics. In that moment her dream came true and no words can describe the way she felt. We’re both very grateful for that beautiful coincidence! 🤩

There are no better coconuts than South Indian coconuts 🥥

We drank the biggest, fullest and tastiest coconut waters from roadside delicious green coconuts in South India. These particular ones we had about 30km away from Kochi. Not only were they full of nutritious and refreshing coconut waters but also had plenty of delicious malai - the soft, white layer that you can eat! 🌴

South India has tricked us in the first days into believing chai there isn’t very sweet and tasty. We found out later what was the real matter…. ☕️

Served beverage often isn’t yet shaken! And that’s also the reason behind cha being served with an additional bowl - katoori. You’re supposed to pour the liquid back and forth into glass and katoori to reach the full flavor!🍬

Quick GRWM for Karva Chauth puja 🕉️🧡

Soon we will be celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary and this was our second Karva Chauth celebration. What is it about you may wonder? ⬇️

Karva Chauth celebrations focus on married couple. During the festival married women fast for their husbands health and wellbeing from dawn till dusk refraining from eating and drinking anything, including water. Fasting ladies often gather together and support each other in fasting while singing, getting beauty treatments, sharing traditional stories and creating art. Once the moon rises couples perform puja during which husband gives his wife first sip of water and bite of food to break her fast 🫶🏻🫶🏾

To us it’s a day full of reflections about our relationship. Special day dedicated just to us together with beautiful, spiritual meaning 🧡

After a long day and first puncture on our motorbike tour we have finally reached Coimbatore. We found our hotel booked via world’s biggest hotel booking platform (or at least that’s what they want to be) and got freshened up 🧼🚿

We chose to stay in a new form of accommodation this time. Knowing we would only spend a night there and leaving early in the morning it did not really matter to us what place we will sleep at. And that is how we eneded up at Bharath Pods in Coombatore. It was our first time at sleeping pods ever and let us tell you, it was really not too bad! Of course the space is limited but the facility is really modern and if not for the location - in rather remote area - we would give it 10/10 rating.

Anyway the main purpose forus to visit Coimbatore was of course Adiyogi and the great statue of Shiva. We’ve got to know it is THE LARGEST BURST STATUE in the world! 🌍

How cool!

But in fact the place disappointed us greatly as we came mostly with intentions of deep prayer and spiritual experience. What it happened to be you’ll find out in our newest vlog. Link below 👇🏾 👇🏻
