Still not totally sure what I have to offer nowadays? Fair. Took me a while too.
And I didn’t have an Annemarijn on standby to talk me through it. You do!😉

Before we (Annemarijn and I) started working together, I felt like I was constantly holding myself back. I’d done a lot of inner work over the years: therapy, self-reflection, digging through the past. And I understood where my patterns came from. But despite all that insight, I couldn’t seem to break through and really move forward. I had the puzzle pieces, but I wasn’t living the picture.

What made me say yes was the deep trust I already had in Annemarijn, even before she started offering this kind of work. So saying yes was easy and very exciting. It felt like the right next step in my search for more meaning, magic and energy in life.

Working with her helped me realise something important: I can shift into a different state of awareness on my own. Things feel natural, effortless and clear there, and I don’t need to wait for perfect conditions to access it. I just needed help learning how to trust it, and myself. There’s more flow in my life now, and I’m more aware of the signs and synchronicities around me.

I still need to work on making space for this in my day-to-day. Not waiting until everything else is done. Just giving myself permission to tune in, anytime. No more holding back. It’s time to release the brakes and stop the self-sabotage.

What I appreciated most was how relaxed and real the sessions felt. No pressure, no judgment, no shame, nothing too heavy. Today is my birthday!
I am celebrating that I chose to live on this planet nów: source consciousness in a human body, in the family of my loving parents. What a ride it has been already!
Everything I am and everything I have, the experiences I have moved through, the highs and the lows.
My life among other humans, the three human beings I co-created (and wow, aren’t they fabulous?), the animals I have kept close and everything they brought me. Life next to my man, for most of my life already. Life on this wonderful and magical planet. It is one hell of a time to be alive. I have no FOMO whatsoever, because I am ALL IN.

In Dutch we call a birthday “verjaardag.” There is no true literal translation; “aging day” comes closest in spirit. To me, that is the opposite of what I am celebrating.
I am not celebrating getting older, and I am certainly not coding my avatar toward a speedy decay.
I am celebrating existence. Age is just a number, and we give numbers far too much weight and far too many meanings. The idea that life goes downhill after a certain age does not apply to me. I prefer to live in an ageless, playful era for many decades more.

I think I am doing pretty well. Reinventing myself, making the best of it all, the sh*tty parts included. Learning new skills, slowly becoming a silver fox. My body does not have to stay young, and I refuse to submit to “getting old” either. I simply am. And I am deeply grateful for how my bio-suit looks and, above all, how it functions.

As we enter a new world collectively, consciousness sharpens. I see and acknowledge plenty of darkness, and I see even more light. Both belong, and one cannot exist without the other, even when it hurts. Our work is to navigate with our eyes and heart open, to stay present without being pulled under, and to keep choosing the next honest step toward the best version of ourselves. A new era comes with bumps. If you know, you know…

So today I celebrate existence over age, presence over counting, and holding myself to being unapologetically alive. If you needed a sign, this is it. What will you go all in on this year?

And now, cake. With that stupid hat on, who cares?🎂

Yep, that’s me! Een jaar of 8 jong met schildpad Igor op schoot, en in 40 jaar tijd in de kern eigenlijk maar weinig veranderd🤣

Heb ik even jullie aandacht voor wat huishoudelijke mededelingen?
Ook ik ontkom niet aan fors hogere kosten, zowel in mijn bedrijf als in het dagelijks leven, sinds mijn vorige prijswijziging 2,5 jaar geleden en daarom wil ik via deze weg mededelen dat per 1 juni 2025 mijn tarieven zullen wijzigen.

Verder geldt er een stop op nieuwe aanmeldingen: door drukte in de praktijk, maar zeker ook vanwege nieuwe ontwikkelingen in mijn bedrijfsvoering.
Na 25 jaar nonstop behandelen ben ik mezelf opnieuw aan het uitvinden. Een leuk en spannend proces, zeker ook met alles wat er achter de schermen bij komt kijken. Ik ben nu extra blij met de momenten van rust en verstilling in de behandelsessies met jullie dieren😉

Ik ben bezig met het aanmaken van een online portal en daarbinnen een nieuwsbrief. En dat vind ik helemaal niet zo makkelijk tussen de bedrijven door... zodra het online is zal ik een link delen waarin je je op de nieuwsbrief kunt abonneren.

Vandaag was weer erg bijzonder…
Ik kwam voor het eerst bij een krachtige merrie en haar mens. De afspraak stond al een tijdje… en in de tussentijd is het mooie mens in samenspraak met haar merrie tot het besluit gekomen dat het leven van de merrie klaar is. En ze binnenkort ingeslapen gaat worden. En dus kwam ik in plaats van iets te komen ‘fixen’ ineens met een heel ander doel.
Maar welk doel?
Ik heb mijn telefoon met mijn intakeformulier in mijn zak gestoken. En gevraagd of de vrouw het verhaal van haar merrie wilde vertellen.
Een prachtig verhaal, van 16 jaar liefde tussen beiden. En een verhaal van verdriet. Want wat is het moeilijk om je paard te moeten laten gaan. I know…
Het brok schoot meteen in mijn eigen keel.

Ondertussen was de merrie totaal niet van plan om in de stalgang te blijven staan. Ze wilde naar buiten, naar de zon, naar haar hooi en naar haar kuddegenootjes.
Dus dat hebben we natuurlijk gedaan. Halster af.
De merrie bleek in haar jonge jaren haar veulen te hebben verloren. Ik voelde haar pijn. En toen stonden we allemaal te huilen. En briesde de merrie keihard in mijn nek.
Ik heb mijn gedachten helemaal uitgezet en voelde alleen maar dat ik haar moest eren. Dus dat hebben we gedaan. Ik heb met mijn handen geluisterd naar haar be**en. Waar veel oud zeer zat, zowel fysiek als mentaal.
We hebben gepraat, geluisterd, gelachen en gehuild.
Elkáár geheeld.
Mijn hart maakt een sprongetje als ik denk aan wat er vanmiddag gebeurd is. Een sprankeltje magie 💫
Alles voelt lichter. Het is goed zo.

Wat bijzonder om mensen te ontmoeten die zo veel van hun dier houden en zo veel voor hen over hebben. Werkelijk naar hen luisteren en de juiste hulp om zich heen verzamelen.
En ik ken zo veel van die mensen. Wat een rijkdom.
En wat een kadootje❤️
