Très Tropicale is een initiatief van de twee dj’s Akula Samsam (Bart van de Wetering) en Kingston Hi-Fi (Stijn Ariaens). Twee jaar geleden starten zij met het organiseren van de Très Tropicale clubavonden op de Tramkade en dat was een instant succes. Het publiek bij hun clubavonden is zeer divers en doet denken aan de gouden tijden van PuurDansen in de Verkadefabriek waar jong en oud gezamenlijk o

p de dansvloer aan het genieten waren. Très Tropicale draait een eclectische mix met muziek van over de hele wereld, een positieve sound en bovendien zeer dansbaar. Verwacht stijlen als; world, brazil, tropical, latin, african music, cumbia, reggae en een vleugje house.

~~ 2024 has been good to us, here are some highlights ~~
🌺 Together with co host Bart van de Wetering we celebrated our 5 year anniversary of Très Tropicale with a high energy edition at Brouwpodium Bossche Brouwers aan de Vaart.
🏕️ For the last 4 years Kampeerterrein De Lievelinge has been a home for us and it is always great to play there, the fires are continuesly burning and the vibes so high.
🪬 This year I started playing ecstatic dance sets and I really love it, the energy is so positive and everybody comes to give it their all on the dance floor. Big hug to AVANI Retreat, Esther Landa and Landgoed Ottermeer.
🪇 Being part of the line-up at the 10 year anniversary of Café de Ceuvel in Amsterdam.
🇯🇲 Selecting some sweet reggae music with my bredren Cartes Selah of Pacha Mama Soundsystem at Willem Twee muziek en beeldende kunst.
🦩 Always a good thing to play at Van Aken in het Werkwarenhuis, the pink dance hall at Tramkade in my hometown of Den Bosch.

Akula Samsam & Kingston Hi-Fi have been hosting this tropical club night for 5 years now and from the start it was clear that we created a winner as we have always had a packed dance floor with happy & beautiful people.
We strongly feel that the musical styles being played at Très Tropicale need to be represented for the world has so much good music to offer.
