So happy ‘Gorgeous Gardenia’ perfume is back in my collection! My husband gifted me this scent ages ago and in very different bottle. That bottle is long gone and the scent was slightly forgotten. But after I smelled in at Italian olfactory journey during Paris Perfume Week, I knew I had to get it back!

I decided to go for a smaller 30ml bottle and I do not regret it: so easy to take it with me. I have been enjoying it this week during my vacation in Burgundy.

It is a gorgeous, feminine, floral scent perfect for spring and summer time. When I wear ‘Gorgeous Gardenia’ it definitely asks for a cute dress or a more feminine outfit. Cannot wait to wear those cute outfits and this perfume during the summer.

The one and only: ‘Fleur de Peau’ by 🌹♥️!

A few weeks ago my husband gifted me a hand lotion of this beautiful scent, so my nose and hands feel complete! ☺️

P.s. lipstick is also great, but I don’t like luxury mascaras: best performing are drug store or affordable Japanese ones 😂. I used this Chanel mascara for the esthetics 😉

Gold Noir by was actually one of the very first fragrances I received as a PR gift after participating in a perfumery event. It has a bit of a proud moment effect when I smell it. 😉 However, it is not my favourite scent from their line, and I don’t use it very often. We are not supposed to love all the scents that we get to smell, and I would love to explain why this scent is not for me.

This perfume leans heavily into a rich, spicy vanilla, wrapped in a dense amber-woody base that gives it quite a bold character. From the first spray, I get a bit of an overpowering note of cinnamon. Although I love this spice, it is used here quite heavily and it stays a bit too long for my taste. The brand suggest that there is a plum as a middle note in it, but I cannot smell it here.

Overall, it is a bit of a dark, mysterious smell, with incredible projection and longevity. But my nose prefers lighter, less sweet vanilla-based scents: Eau Duelle, Divine Vanille, and more. It could be that my personality and cultural background do not fit the scent as well. Having said that, I can absolutely see this being loved by those who enjoy opulent, Arabian-inspired fragrances. Gold Noir has that richness and presence, with its deep spices, sweetness, and warmth, but it just not for me.
