After about a day and a half of work, it's finally here: The extra DJ computer from DJ TRAXX has been permanently replaced. The ASUS UL30A from 2009, which my mother used to have, was unfortunately too light for this purpose (power consumption 40W at 19VDC), but it was a nice laptop, especially for office applications. Because it's not compatible with Windows 11 and too light for DJ applications, it no longer serves our needs and is for the next owner. The replacement, a Toshiba Satellite L300 from 2008, is suitable because it's more powerful (power consumption 74W at 19VDC). This one belonged to my sister years ago, but she switched to iOS (Apple), so it sat unused for years. This PC is also not compatible with Windows 11, but fortunately, the CPU is 64-bit compatible, allowing the latest version of MI### to be downloaded. This is way better as, in my experience, the beat detection is completely flawless, which is important for being well IN THE MIX. On Friday, Windows 7 32-bit was replaced with Windows 10 64-bit, after which MI### 2.5.3 was installed. Finally, an error in the display resolution surfaced, which was resolved this morning. The cause turned out to be a missing driver for the GPU. With this extra DJ computer, DJ TRAXX is now completely ready for the new year, and weeks earlier than expected.

DJ TRAXX will be there for you in 2026 with at least six Dynamic Deep (Deep House) mixes on his YouTube channel, hopefully being able to bring something nice. The first in line is Dynamic Deep Erkelenz in March as the spring mix, followed by Dynamic Deep Lëtzebuerg (Luxembourg) in June as the first summer mix. In July, the Dynamic Deep series will celebrate its 10th anniversary, and Dynamic Deep Liège will be the commemoration. Then, in August, Dynamic Deep Besançon will be the third and final summer mix. And don't miss an autumn mix: Dynamic Deep Schneverdingen in September. Finally, Dynamic Deep Grindelwald will be the winter mix for 2026/27 at the end of November.

Black Friday is unfortunately approaching again. This means enormous traffic jams and heavy delivery days, a severe impact on the environment, and completely destroyed discounts. Because he's not happy about it, DJ TRAXX has a great alternative: the new winter mix "Dynamic Deep Axamer Lizum" is out tomorrow morning. All the details can be found in the video description. Last night, DJ TRAXX's second DJ computer was replaced. This happened way more quickly than initially expected, as an upgrade to Windows 11 is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026 in my case. The "new" PC is an ASUS UL30A from 2009 that was owned by my mother, but fell into disuse because of Windows 11. It originally ran Windows 7, but it turned out to be 64-bit capable, so it now runs Windows 10. This made it possible to replace the lesser Mi### 2.2.4 with the better Mi### 2.5.3, which doesn't have beat detection errors but does require a 64-bit operating system. Due to the planned upgrade to Windows 11, this small ASUS is being used as a bridge for what the rest will bring.

DJ TRAXX kicked off GLOW 2025 with lots of flashes and lots of smoke. As far as we know, there were no real malfunctions, except that the smoke fluid ran out in the last hour. as refilling it for such a short time wasn't useful, the fazer (fog machine) was shut down. The preceding hours had been a great show, and that's exactly what DJ TRAXX is all about with GLOW. There will be no performances for the next few days. DJ TRAXX will be back on Friday and Saturday from 7:00 PM.

DJ TRAXX without a winter mix? Don't think so! On Friday, the 28th of November, Dynamic Deep Axamer Lizum will be released as the winter mix for 2025/26. It's already mixed, but still needs to be made into a video.
