Five surviving Rometsch Lawrence models — hand‑built in Berlin between 1957 and 1961 and crafted from aluminium with over 1,000 hours of workmanship each. Only 34 are known to exist today, making the Lawrence one of the rarest and most elegant Volkswagen‑based coachbuilt cars ever made.
