Confidence is not ‘they will like me.’ Confidence is: I’ll be okay if they don’t.” 🤍

In an industry built around being seen, the hardest skill is learning how to stand strong, even when you feel invisible.

🌿 You are enough. You are still enough when you're not booked. And you're more than enough when you’re just being you.

New to modeling? Here are 3 things we wish everyone knew from day one:

1️⃣ You are more than your looks.
Your attitude, professionalism, and energy matter just as much as your face.
2️⃣ Rejection isn’t personal.
Brands cast for specific concepts, not “better” people.
3️⃣ Take care of yourself.
Physical and mental health are not optional extras in this industry.

What is another tip you would give to new models? 🤍

MODEL INSPIRATIONS | Charli Howard ✨

Charli Howard is an English model, author, and body activist who has become a prominent voice in the movement for diversity and inclusivity in the fashion industry. Born in South-East London, Charli faced rejection from numerous modeling agencies during her teenage years due to her body size and shape. Despite these setbacks, she remained determined to pursue her passion for modeling.

At 21, Charli was signed by a London-based agency after her friend submitted her Facebook photos without her knowledge. Since then, she has worked with major brands and appeared in prominent publications 💪

In 2015, Charli made headlines when she publicly addressed the industry's unrealistic beauty standards by writing an open letter to her former modeling agency. In the letter, she criticized the industry's obsession with thinness and called for more diversity and acceptance of different body types. This bold move garnered widespread attention and solidified her role as a body positivity advocate.

Charli Howard's journey is a testament to resilience and the power of self-acceptance. By challenging industry norms and advocating for greater representation, she has become a role model for many aspiring models and individuals striving to embrace their authentic selves. Her work continues to inspire change and promote a more inclusive and diverse fashion industry ✨

We all do it: scrolling, liking, and silently wondering if we’re enough 📱
Here are 3 ways to break that cycle and protect your self-image:

3. Curate your feed
Follow people who make you feel inspired, not insecure. Unfollow accounts that trigger doubt, even if they’re popular ✨

2. Practice “pause and check-in”
Notice when comparison kicks in. Take a breath and ask yourself: Is this helping me feel better or worse? Shift your focus when needed.

3. Celebrate your own progress
Instead of measuring up to others, look at how far you’ve come. Growth isn’t always visible, but it’s always worth noticing.

You are more than a like count. More than an edited image.
You’re already enough, just as you are. 🤍

A reminder we all need:
You don’t owe anyone an explanation for your shape, size or skin.
You’re allowed to exist loudly, proudly, and without apology 🤍

MODEL INSPIRATIONS | Mia Kang ✨

Mia Kang's journey to body positivity is both inspiring and transformative. Born in Hong Kong and raised in the UK, Mia began her modeling career at a young age. Despite achieving success in the fashion industry, she struggled with body image issues and eating disorders, feeling pressured to maintain a certain physique to stay relevant in the modeling world.

Her turning point came when she discovered Muay Thai, a traditional martial art from Thailand. Training in Muay Thai not only improved her physical health but also reshaped her perception of her body. She learned to appreciate her body's strength and capabilities rather than focusing solely on appearance 💪

Mia now uses her platform to advocate for body confidence and self-love. She emphasizes the importance of mental and physical health over societal standards of beauty. Through her work, Mia encourages others to embrace their bodies and redefine beauty on their own terms.

Thank you Mia Kang 🤍
